  10. You know he did a great job when they look that good in the garage! Very nice.
  11. Gotta admit, up until a few seasons ago I carried everything but the kitchen sink with me. What a mess, not to mention all the gear I lost along the way. For about 3 years now I've been getting by with what comfortably fits in my 6 pocket pants.
  12. Have a safe trip. I think next weeks stop is in Western NY!
  13. Will do..scary stuff.
  14. Good example of the fine line between a mans desire to surive and his own ability to perform in a survival situation. The knowledge to build, create and gather life sustaining necessities doesn't necessarily give you the ability under real life threatening conditions. May have done better to try to simulate some controlled conditions he would be encountering from the comfort of his own backyard taking note of his weaknesses before ultimately throwing himself to the mercy of mother natures wolves. In my opinion this was a story of suicide. You don't get test runs in a survival situation so you do your best to not throw yourself into one.....you live...or you die.:angel2: Survivor Man is good entertainment, but sometimes even that's questionable. Too bad about this guy. From what I hear about hypothermia once your body stops trying to fight it off, it's a very peacefull way to go.:sleep1:
  15. Travel light with only what you plan on using for the days hunt neatly and silently packed away..everything has it's place and is well organized.. OR ...fill 'er up..., 'pots and pans' clanging as you make your way through the turkey woods. Clucks and putts sounding off from your pockets with every step. Calls and ammo scattered on the ground as you search for your 'go to call' to seal the deal when that booming gobble errupts just over the rise...
  16. Don't think I've ever seen my weather stick as excited as it was yesterday. Looks like a repeat for today!
  17. Hey... hey, watch it this is a family site. That does look pretty nasty. Hope it get to feeling better soon. Walk it off!
  18. Happy Birthday Lewis!
  19. Couple of dandies right there. Hope to see the match turn up for you with a little luck.
  20. There's a textbook big buck story with the perfect ending.
  21. $44 walmart Hard to beat for the price on the backyard range. 18"x18"x18". I just ordered another one of these last night- decent bag for the buck with a better life expectency than I expected. Shot one for close to 2 years that still stops most field tipped arrows.
