  1. This can stay pinned here for the weekend and then moved to the announcement room. S
  2. Got an email from his Mom this morning. He will be out of the loop for a while: Hey Scott, I am sure you are busy but I wanted to let you know where Randy is now. Randy arrived home from WY. on Tuesday night at 6:30pm. He came in took a shower and loaded his other luggage to head to canada. Our family had to drive him to Little Rock,AR. airport to fly with a cameraman from the Muzzy Bowhunting TV show. It was an 8 hour drive. He got to the airport at 3:30am. We did an 8 hour drive in 7and a half. He then had to take a flight to Houston and then on to Alberta canada, somewhere near Calgary. This was his first ever airplane ride. He said that the first plane was the Ford Focus of planes! then he got on a 787 and he said it was nice! Could you tell all of his friends on the forums that he made it home safely from WY. , after dad got stopped for speeding in SD.( he got a warning)!! He will be in Canada until the 17th hunting elk and deer. He has no access to a computer and his cell phone doesn't have a signal. He has to call us from the cameraman's phone. We talked all the way to AR about how much fun he had in WY with all of his friends from the forums. Let everyone know that as soon as Randy makes it home he will be back on the forums on late Thursday the 18th. He arrives back in the states on the 17th late. Thanks for everything, Darla Oitker
  3. That's a great question. I really don't have anything to do with those type decisions here, but if I were to guess, I think it could be answered in two words (on why he hasn't been asked)... ... too ugly!
  4. A great time with everyone (and all the Steve's). Tony and Steve have been nice enough to drive me back and forth all weekend. You guys have a safe trip home. Hope to see some folks score on some goats over the next two days before I head back home to wrestle some hurricanes. S
  5. PS. Tim is only listed as a mod at the moment. For some reason, the admin is not letting me add Steve to the list. It might be trying to tell me something by not allowing it! Anyway, I have a call in for some help and hope to have Steve added in there soon.
  6. We are making room this our home base for our many Pro Staffers here at Realtree and hope to have them coming in and posting their news, appearances, tips and hunting adventures. Of course everyone is welcomed to come in and post your questions and comments for these guys (and gals). Our long time forum members/Pro Staffers Tim Andrus and Steve Beilgard will be moderating, so you folks taking it easy on them or they have my permission to ban you immediately! Have fun! S
  7. Nice meeting up with you Randy. Wish we could have chatted a while longer, but I had to meet with someone that had been trying to set one (a meeting) up with me for three days. I then left soon after for Milwaukee and a flight back down to this hot humid place they call the south. The weather in Oshkosh spoils me every year. My biggest disappointment was not getting down to see and chat with Randy O. His mom even emailed me about the new camo on his truck and that I needed to check it out. Unfortunately, the dealer we had in the tent was short on personnel this year and I never had a chance to get away all weekend long. S
  8. One thing I am considering is flushing members that have not posted in the past year (12 months). We've done this before and do it for a couple of reasons. No. 1. It frees up server space and makes the boards faster. No.2. It gives us a better idea of how many contributing members we have. If any one has a reason we shouldn't do this, please let me know. If anyone has a friend that hasn't posted in a while and doesn't want to lose their post count, you better tell them to log back in very soon. Thanks, S
  9. It might have been posted already, but this show is airing exclusively here on Realtree.com (See the home page now). Hosted by Bill Winke, they will be filming every week of this season and you will see how he does on some giant whitetails he's scouting out there in Iowa right now. Keep in mind that these are show filmed and shown in the same week of this (2008) season (Unlike all the shows you see on TV which were filmed last season). Check out the bucks he has his sights on. Whether they get them or not, you can follow along weekly and all season. S P.S. Other than the opening sponsors, there are no commercials.
  10. http://www.diablooutdoors.com/ Diablo Outdoors just launched a new website full of Team Realtree clothing for hunting, fishing and casual wear. I wasn't asked to post this, just thought many in here would want to see it. You can buy from their site and this is high quality gear. S
  11. We are currently reviewing and planning a lot of things concerning the site and improvements. Part of these includes the forums and some additions in here. Your comments here are helpful and I encourage everyone to continue giving us feedback on this and all aspects of the site. S
  12. Sorry Steve. Just saw this. No, you don't have to have internet. S

    WHY ??

I don't see where the thread is locked.
  16. I thought everyone said this thread had been locked??
  17. We have received several request for this cap. This was actually supposed to be discontinued this year, but as a result of the high demand for them, we decided to offer them online for another year. I am expecting a big shipment of the hats in on 5/21. As soon as I get them in, I will put a banner link to them. Shane Grimsley Internet & Excess Inventory Sales Manager Email: [email protected]
  18. Don't know what the deal is with the links. They must be working on it. I'll get that fixed shortly. S
  19. The decals are 7 inches wide. You can see it on a vehicle by clicking the 2nd image on the bottom of the linked page. S
  20. Try it again. They were switching stuff around while I was posting this. S
  21. Get 'em while they last. Would love to see some decals on vehicles while on the road, and T's on folks in random places. Now everyone can spot fellow Realtree Forum Members! The caps are on backorder and will have to come later. Styles will be one solid and one camo. There are two colored T's and one decal Links in here were not working for some reason. Just go to the Realstore and look on the last page of Men's shirts and last page of "Novelties" under "Gear." http://www.realtree.com/store/ The decals are the kind that apply to the outside of the window with no backing left (Only the white logo elements stick). So they are perfect for tinted windows.
  22. Art is complete and the gear is being ordered this week. Caps, T-shirts (2 different colors) and decals. I will announce it in here as soon as we get it all in and available. S
