  1. Re: GPS - for the car I love to use them, but have never priced them. I will say the ones in the rental cars can annoy you when they start barking out instructions, but you can turn that off. Buckee and I just found it amusing out in Colorado and actually came up with our own GPS commands. She did seem like she was berating me if I didn't hold the line. I would suggest saving money and going without the voice commands. It's like having a 2nd wife that actually knows directions, knows where she's going and won't stop teliing you where to turn or go! 2. Re: To be honest Its kinda sickening!!! Known and worked with all those guys for over 10 years and never heard one say they were better than anyone. And don't think for a second that they don't appreciate how fortunate they are to hunt where they do. That being said, if they are hunting public land every week and paying for the equipment, time, personel, etc., what kind of TV shows and videos would we be producing? And who's going to buy them? S

  4. Re: Realtree games not working?? Some of the older games need Shockwave and the newer ones Flash. Make sure you have the latest of these two programs downloaded and active on your PC. Thanks, S
  5. Re: What do you drive? Steve, from what I could see in CO, you need a tank for your hunting trips! I'm sure the others would agree! S

  10. Re: how do you know if a girl likes you? You will never figure those girls out. And that goes from grade school all the way through life. However, if she says "Can I go hunting with you" snatch her up on the spot!
  11. Re: In the spirit of Halloween (and costumes) Buckee and I spent a lot of time together talking on the CO hunt. It was at this time I found out that they don't believe in Halloween up there on the island he lives on. I was surprised by that, and therefore, don't have a costume pic for him. However, he talked a lot about how hunting blacktail was so hard and so different than anything we do down here in the states. Buckee gave me the picture below to illustrate just how hard it is. He mentioned the elaborate blinds they use (even though I couldn't see it in this shot). He also mentioned the importance of staying hydrated. I was really shocked to hear that since they are at sea level and have a rather cool climate year round. Yet, as you can see, he brought in plenty of fluids to make sure he does drink a lot of fluids (and he even uses them as a seat on stand). What an inspirational hunter Buckee is to all of us! I was impressed with his true life hunting stories! S PS: I was impressed with how he hunted in "summer-like" clothing, and those big trails behind him were unbelivable. They looked like highways through the woods! [ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ]

  20. Re: \"Official\" Post Colorado Trip Thread Great pics! What's the story with Steve's coat, boots, etc? Also, was this a herd or bull you guys spotted (or saw tracks?). They must have moved up high again. And has anyone got a report from Charlie and Erica? S
  21. Re: \"Official\" Post Colorado Trip Thread Wow Gregg. Congratulations! I am very happy for you (and Steve B). That is work that paid off. I wish Jeff and Pete could have scored, but there will be future hunts. I want to hear about that trip out with that trailer. I'm sure it was an adventure in itself. S
  22. Re: \"Official\" Post Colorado Trip Thread Luke, that CD was in my computer and I will send it to you. And about that jacket. Have you ever thought someone grabbed it and threw it away because it was dark camo and ugly? Send me your size and I will make sure that it is replaced with the correct "Hunter's uniform." To be honest, you losing it was a good thing. S
