  1. We have found that if we give something as simple as a decal away, the liability is just to great. Most members in here could (or would) insert it in their mouth and possibly choke. I would hate to think what would happen if we gave away weapons, or anything with sharp edges (that is anything beyond a cube of jello) ! Request noted and I will see what we can do.

    Got Crocs?

If they are Crocs (There are many off-brands) you got a deal, or they made a mistake on pricing. They are all I wear during the summer. Have worn out one pair and am working on the 2nd. S
  3. I have been asked to post that at midnight tonight the Nocked 'N Loaded DVD will go on sale and if you have the countdown going on your screen at midnight (based on you computer's clock), you will see a bonus feature from the title. The only way you can see it is if you have the counter on live and when it hits zero. If not on there at that moment, you will miss it. I will say that we have been screening the disk this week and personally think this is one of the best introductory titles we have ever put together. Especially, if you are a bowhunter (or looking to get into archery). Beyond all the hunts, the bonus material featuring T-Bone taking a youth and adult all the way through the purchasing and learning how to shoot a bow, and Byron Ferguson and our own Randy Oitker trick shots are worth every penny. Don't wait for it to hit the stores, because the RealStore here online is the only place it will be available. Thanks, S Pull up the counter here for tonight's feature: http://www.nockednloaded.com/ Realtree Loads Up With New DVD There are certain dates in American history that deserve a little extra love, like August 3. On that day 515 years ago, a no-name explorer hopped on his little boat from Palos de la Frontera, Spain, eventually to step foot on undiscovered land where we now live. And not that Realtree is trying to put Columbus in the shadows, they are trying to make some history of their own by producing the most action-packed bowhunting DVD of all time—“Nocked ‘N Loaded.” (Whether it’s as big a hit as The New World is yet to be seen, but the boys and girls at Realtree are pretty fired up about it.) “Nocked ‘N Loaded,” hosted by Travis “T-Bone” Turner, features a unique storyline of a father and son learning the ins and outs of archery. The viewer decides whether he wants to follow the father or the son on their journey to becoming a bona fide archer. T-Bone walks both newcomers through the excitement of picking the right bow; then he shows them how to use it through an advanced breakdown of what it takes to be a great archer. Intertwined in the “Two-Track” format are 14 bowhunts that will get the blood pumping. Team Realtree members cover nine states on their way to letting a few arrows fly at some of the gnarliest bucks ever seen, including a 172-inch brute arrowed by Lee Lakosky. To learn more about “Nocked ‘N Loaded” and to sign up for updates, visit www.nockednloaded.com. You can purchase your copy at www.realtree.com/store on August 3. Extra Features Include: • Trick shots by Byron Ferguson, T-Bone and Randy Oitker • Shot placement tips hosted by Matt Moore of Closing the Distance • Printable targets, autograph cards and tip sheets • Easter Egg Hunt (Don’t worry, it will be explained)
  4. Yes. $16. The same as the other titles. S

  6. First of all, I appreciate all the comments and suggestions concerning the renaming of this turkey room in David's honor. However, after careful consideration and reading a lot of thoughts and comments from not only you the users, but our moderators, I have decided to not name the room in David's honor. Instead, we will have the annual forum's turkey contest include David's name (the specifics will still need to be worked out). I said "I decided" because the moderators were really split on this and I didn't think it was fair that any of them would have to come in here and post why they did, or didn't agree with the room naming. I will say that no one felt that David was not deserving of some type of memorial. What the users did in here with the call auction and Jake here at Realtree with the feature story was great tributes to David. I think the yearly contest will be a way to continue the memory of him going forward. Thanks, S
  7. Guys, Jake Fagan in our Marketing Department is responsible for that story and I emailed him tonight and thanked him for a great tribute. I hope David's family and friends have the opportunity to read it. What a great story. S

  9. It's seems the demand is more than the availability. We're just curious to what you have seen (or not seen) so far.
  10. Please give us time. Many of you were not around years ago when we did upgrades or changes. It always looks like the end of the world at first, but it always turns out the better. I think one upgrade or crash lost all of the previous posts and info, Compared to that, this is nothing. We promise it will get better. S
  11. Re: ***SASKMAN is a STAR*** Awesome! You are now the man! Lighten' up boys! S
  12. Re: THANK YOU REALTREE!!! You're welcome guys. My part is easy. I just stuff the envelope and sign off on each one. Gary and all the other folks in here that organize these online contests are the ones that do all the work to organize and run these. S
  13. Re: A Forum Hunting Story It was much colder than back home, but the temperature was of little concern. We were about to hunt where very few have hunted before and for a trophy that would have Chuck Adams turning green with envy! I could see my Father's excitement as we hurried inside.
  14. I saw the post that hunting_boy posted about folks sending him some emails to put together a hunting story. Well, that didn't work because the request turned into a grammar/english lesson for him. Not sure I agree with those since the folks posting them don't know hunting_boy, his age or his writing capabilities. Anyway, I got an idea from his post. And I think it would be cool to see what your writing capabilities are. I am using this post to begin a Realtree.com hunting story. Everyone can participate. I just want to see where it goes. In the thread you cannot post comments. Just continue the story. If someone strays (or you think they have), try to write to steer the story line back on track. You can post multiple times, but not in succession. Here are the rules. I will begin the story. Everyone has a three sentence limit. You can be funny (but not ridiculous or out in left field). You can be serious (but not over the top). The next person posting has to pick up where you leave off. Let's see if we can develop a plot, an ongoing story that makes sense and captures reader's imaginations. Get your kids to help you. Make it fun. Don't post anything other than your three sentences to keep the story going. Here is the opening (And keep in mind, I am not a writer): Back home, hunting was just a hobby. A chance to enjoy the outdoors and an opportunity to put work (or any stress related issues) on the backburner. But when I got that call last year, I knew this trip would be different ...
  15. Re: Anyone else having problems with the forum ?? If we warn you, it wouldn't be a surprise. And if we did, it might have caused mass hysteria. S

I will follow up with the webmaster on this changing (as we are launching a new site). But please remember that you can go under "Views" in your web browser menu and enlarge it if needed. S
  17. Re: Gotta Like The New RT Digs Guys, we are in the process of launching the new site (which will take most of the day). Not done yet. S
  18. Re: Anybody remember? The Hunt by Thomas King (Now available as a book) by Daniel Mires
  19. Good link for it: http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/ Look at video selections on the far right. S
  20. Re: Anybody remember? Called the Hunt by Thomas King. I will take a look for it in a couple of days (when I get through with these shows). Thanks, S
  21. See the new links on the right side of the home page. We are launching these patterns down here in Orlando (at the SHOT show) starting tomorrow morning. I'm personally excited to see us lighten up the camo for a change. S
  22. Re: Realtree Roadtrips??????? I think the show is popular because Michael is himself. And I can tell you he is. He goofs a little, but takes his job and hunting seriously. He's not always going to say the right thing or please everybody, but that what makes the show so good. He is spontaneous. As far the "Will Hunt For Food" caps (or other stuff). It's just something that says, "I am a hunter, and I eat meat (including what I hunt)." Most of the antis like to look at us as just animal killers. There is a lot more to it than that. S
  23. Re: National Championship Predictions (score) I predict FL 14-7 at the end of the 1st!
  24. Re: YEAH BABY, 2006 SEC CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will be pulling for you next month, but must say War Eagle! We blew the Ark and GA games, but beating FL and LSU is impressive. S
  25. Re: Congrats to our NEWEST MODERATOR Ladyluck (the previous mod) emailed me a week or two and said that she needed to step down because of computer problems, her job, lack of time, etc. We will miss her, but she promised to come in when she can. At the same time, we are excited to have Andrea step up to the plate. S
