If you want a pretty gun, without scratches and dents, that thing would have to be refinished, and then a safe queen....Id leave it the way it is, cap it, adds character....and keep on shooting....its a great gun, and meant to kill Gods creatures....I agree with Don, every nick, and dent has a story and a memory........al

Well...interesting week, received a threatening letter from the small town hall in our town, stating that I have been targeted with a "barking dog", and if he continues to bark excessively at night, I will be fined, close to 200.00 dollars. Of course, being a proud dog owner, Im thinking "not my dog" lol...I never hear him, however, I work midnights, and am never home during the week. Well at 330am this morning, my black lab proved me wrong, and was an excessive barker. I snatched him up, and put him in the kennel box on the back porch provided by my buddy Dan (thanks Dan). I need a bark collar with two great things going for it. 1) It works, and 2) Its not too expensive. HELP!!!!!!!!! al

Dated and was married within 6 months of meeting her. We have been married 20 years this May., and we didnt start having kids for 3.5 years after our marriage., alot of people thought for sure she was pregnant to get married that soon. Nope, just in love. al

We had fresh beef from the 1/2 cow we bought....oldest son Hunter went on his first real date to the movies, and dinner. I fixed T-bones, baked potatoes, peas, salad, and wife baked a huge cake with pink icing...inlaws came over and had cake and coffee, and then to bed we went. al

Im not promoting alcohol, or whatever it may seem...but if you live near me...northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana...wherever...I think before we suit up for turkeys, and since the winter has been long...I think its time to fire up a grill somewhere in the middle, drink, eat and be happy....who is in on this....lets make this happen...Im getting cabin fever.... al

Ruger 10/22 is a great gun....I actually really like/love my Savage 17hmr with the synthetic stock/scope combo...deadly squirrel and rabbit gun, and I can put them in the size of a dime all day at 75 yards.......here is a website you can do research, and looked at the tricked out (people have way too much time/money) guns...there is a great classified ads, I have done business with alot of em, good people. Its www.rimfirecentral.com it will give you an idea, and there are specific forum rooms for each popular/not so popular gun on their site. al

Buy it......nothing like sending over 2 oz of lead at a bird.....my buddy, little old guy (66) weighs about 135 lbs...I think his gun weighs more than him.....he has leveled turkeys quite a poke in the Missouri woods with the same gun......everyone asks him "Why do you shoot such a huge gun" his reply is " I want the turkeys to just surrender, but Im willin' to show em why they should of to begin with" HE hunts 5 different states with that cannon, and loves it....he tells me "builds character, and the birds fall over from the aftershock....lol" Let me see it when you get it......al

Im gonna have to go with teething....Colic is also the possibility...I have 5 great kids, and I know about the late nights....another good thing is if he is teething, use baby oragel, and rub them gums good...and if he is filling that little belly with air, you sit upright in a chair, and put him on his chest and belly and rub his back...gets rid of the gas......if your up this weekend with him, pm me, Ill give you my cell....between you, your wife, me and my wife, we can figure this out......Im a natural night owl...at work now at 325 am al

Right under my warehouse Dan where I work....shook the whole factory last night...I thought one of my not so bright co workers blew up something...lol...........it hit us right at about 400am......shook the power forklift I drive (weighs as much as two cars) pretty good....kept me awake the rest of my shift...lol.........al
