Yeah, Stafford and Bush really had great 4th quarters. I left to go hunting at 2 and thought I had already lost! Sunday evening was my only hunt this weekend but I ended up seeing 11 deer. All of them does, but although I've never witnessed it, I've heard that the yearling doe normally go in heat late, so you can bet I'll be in my stand Saturday morning and all day Monday hoping a buck decides to check them out. LOL. Just looked at the ESPN poll. Out of 200,000 votes, Alabama and Mississippi are the only states where Oklahoma State is not winning and Mississippi is 50/50. Hope the guys with the votes take heed to what the nation saying.

I'm a little biased....but I think OSU made its case for the championship. I don't think Bama would just "roll" over em. In fact, if OSU were to play the same game they played last night agains OU, then they would beat Bama easily. Bottom line, OSU deserves to be in the championship game. Bama deserves to be in the championship game. I would absolutely love to see them play each other for the right, but that won't happen. So, I'm giving the nod to Bama. I know OSU had the tougher schedule and won more games against ranked teams, but its the one they didn't win that has me taking Bama over them. Could care less whether Bama won their own championship or not. They beat everyone on their schedule except the number one team in the country and then took them to overtime. Even though it could be a boring game, I think Bama deserves to play LSU.

Even though its gun season here in Oklahoma, I ventured out with my bow this morning. I took my friend(rifle hunter) with me and stuck him 200 yards from me. At about 9:00, two does and two yearlings made their way towards me. I stopped the biggest doe at 25 yards, quartering away and let her have it. She ran maybe 100 yards and piled up. Didn't even venture into the woods last weekend. Going to make up for it this weekend. Taking off work tomorrow because I need to clean up a tree that fell on a corral. Won't start working until 10 or so, that will give me time to hunt a little. Plan on hunting the next three mornings and possibly and evening or two.

As much as I hate to admit it but I agree with ya. I think Urban will do nothing but improve the Buckeyes football program. He's had to work his butt off on recruiting at most of his stops and now, the program does the recruiting for him. Scary if you ask me.

Wonder how long Meyer has to be there before he qualifies for free tattoos???
