Thanks everyone! I've got a great location(right across the street from the only McDonald's in town...LOL) and a hardly any competition. There's two more tire stores but they're more of a "shade tree" mechanic type. Express has a nice office and waiting area. Has an air of "professionalism" that the others don't. Plus the sales are about double the other two. Kyle--let me know what tire you need and I'll see what I can do. Wish you could wait until hunting season, then you could have a reason to make the drive!

That's one of my concerns(friendship). But we've both come to a mutual agreement. He will be on salary, plus he will also split any profits with me. But as far as ownership of the company, he will have to put in the time. According to our LLC agreement, he earns 10% ownership per year until the 5th year and he will get 9%(for a total of 49%). If at anytime during the 5 years he decides to bail, I will only owe him a percentage of our total net worth.

On Friday, I sign papers to buy Express Wheel & Tire here in Idabel, Oklahoma! As of Monday, April 2nd, I will officially be a business owner! I plan on keeping my current job and letting a friend of mine run the business for me. I will be there after work everyday to do the books, pay the bills and etc. The business is very profitable so I'm pretty excited about its potential.

I just saw sportscenter and they're reporting that Greg Oden has been released by the Trailblazers?? Wow?? Talk about out of the blue! I know one member in particular that is going to take this hard and my prayers go out to him. I know he cared....more than a man should...but he cared!

One my grandma taught me: "I wish I was half as smart as you thought you were." And one that ticks my little girl off but she tends to say "Daddy, you know what?" all the time, so I've gotten to where I quickly reply "Yep, I met him in Walmart the other day!"

I normally try to judge the yardage first by looking at the size of the target and putting a number on it. Then I mentally mark off 5 yards and get a number that way. And finally, I check the locations of the other stakes. If you know the max yardages on the other stakes, its a good way to verify if your yardage is close.

Wannabe Rangers fan here as well. I've been to 3 games in the past two years and planning on making 2 or 3 more in 2012.

Even Tball is about winning down here. More parents get kicked out of the park over a tball game than any other age group. Luckily, my daughters team should go undefeated this year so I won't have to worry about parents that much!!LOL

In my opinion, everyone has weak moments, but not everyone chooses to act upon their impulses. Those that do always have excuses. And I know people are supposed to learn from their mistakes, but in my experience, those who cheat on their spouse/significant other, rarely learn the first time.

The only time I ever recommend to my customers that type of refinancing is if they are struggling financially. A few have good intentions and will tell me that they're going to refi but still pay the larger payment....that seldom holds true for the life of the loan.

From what I've heard, the Fed has all but promised that rates won't go up in 2012. That doesn't mean that they won't go down, but most experts are guessing that rates will stay the same throughout the year. From a personal perspective, I can't see how rates could go down further, so I would do the conversion. Although, I would ask to see all fees associated with the conversion and not just the conversion charge.
