I shoot a Mossberg 500 20 ga Super Bantam with H.S. Undertaker choke and TruGlo fiber optic sights. Had a Red Dot that lasted one year.

Woohoo, shot well today. Turned in 2 scores for 2 weeks - shot a 150 and a 153. Only one 8 ring, the rest were 10 and 11 rings:)

For SPRING??? I'm starting to go stir crazy....Work every other weekend and on my off weekends it always is blustery and cold and snowing....Good think I have homework and textbooks to read but I'm ready for sunshine and shed antlers!

Shot my first 2 scores last Friday...143 and 146. Not horrible for being sick and not shooting since archery season. Hope to get some practice in before shooting next week. Love 3D! Thinking about changing the peep size on my bow...have a 1/4" which is great for light but too much sight picture when shooting at a target. I'll see what next week brings.

I got a TC Omega Z5 from a co-worker for like $200 basically new. I haven't shot a deer with it yet but having had it for 2 years, the thing is a tack driver with open sights at about 60-70 yards. I'm sure if I put a scope on it, it would really reach out.

Finally ordered it....was going to get a Toshiba but looking at reviews and what I was going to spend, got an ASUS with i7 processor, etc....ordered via Staples. Think I'll have it end of week. Classes start next week...craziness!

What's the difference between WLAN and WiFi? Toshiba says WiFi...HP says WLAN. If it says WLAN, can you still connect if say you are somewhere where there is WiFi access or no? Want to make sure before I order my laptop. Thanks!

Fly - I am in the BS-N program at Alfred State - newly accredited with the CCNE. Been looking a Toshiba and HP...seems most talk to like Toshiba. Leaning torwards that with the WiFi as HP is WLAN.

Already know where I'm goin, signd up for classes. Found the college requirements. Anyone know how the AMD processors (i.e. AMD quad core 10) vs Intel I (like i5 or i7) processors compare? Also in regard to internet access the Toshiba say WIFI/Bluetooth, the HPs say WLAN...Whats the difference? I got a router to put on our home PC so I can get wireless internet in the house on the laptop.
