  2. Re: Questions about selecting the right arrows I have Beman ICS 500 arrows, shooting 26" @ 49 lbs DW and the arrows are best for bows in the 40-50 lb DW range so I'm fine. It's better to be overspined then underspined, as I was told. Mine are only like 7.3 gpi so your might be fine.
  3. Re: Whos getting hit? We are tomorrow afternoon until Wednesday late. They said 7-12". I'm ready for spring!
  4. Re: Keep your family safe!! It said 3 here and 2 un-mappable. 2 of the 3 shown are local public school??! We know there is someone living closer but not shown on here.
  5. Re: Ready to cuss Sounds like a bunch of slobby sickos to me...and a careless game warden. I know it annoys the heck out of me when I see a dead deer on the side of the road, that was hit by a car and maybe it's antlers or head is cut off and the rest left to waste. I even hate seeing a perfectly salvagable deer left to waste on the road. Do you have a trail camera you could maybe set up and get photos of?
  6. Re: Sheds & snow I don't think I've ever found a shed in the snow. I've looked but I always find them after the snow is melted, so I think it is easier when the snow is gone because they aren't buried.Though I suppose if the antlers are big enough, it doesn't matter, lol!
  7. Re: New York Youth Ice Fishing Derby that's look like it'll be fun! If I lived closer, I'd be glad to help with something like that. No one does anything like that down around here.
  8. Re: Help! V-day gift needed That is a good idea NiteRunner! Of course if it was me, I'm pleased with anything that is usefull for hunting or fishing, lol. Could always do flowers and then maybe a gift certificate in the little envelope with the flowers to like an outdoorsey store...
  9. Re: (Pic) of new stabilizer for the new bow.... I've got a mini-S coil also...and an Alpine Soft loc. You can't go wrong with either!
  10. Re: Whoops.... World Trade Center is a really good movie. Definitely makes you think about living and what life is really about...never know when your time will come. Also makes you realize just how tragic "that day" really was. Intense but good movie.
  11. Re: Happy Birthday Griz Happy Birthday Griz! hope you have a great day!
  12. Re: first shed!! Wow, congrats on the find! Very unique shed! Keep looking! I can't wait until some of this snow melts so I can start looking.

    The good old days

Re: The good old days LOL Andrea! You always crack me up. I sure remember the days back in college...papers due, exams due at the same time as papers....seeing classmates, talking about professors when they weren't around, mandatory chapel attendance and the people known as "scanners and scrammers", lol. Oh wait, it was just 1 year ago I was in college, lol!

    Whoops....

It's kinda late isn't it in here, lol? No one else is surfing the Lounge as I type...@ 12:06am on a Sunday morning, lol. Ok, this is way past my bedtime but we watched World Trade Center, then the news then I had to come check Realtree before I went to bed and next thing you know, a half hour has gone by! Anyone else awake?
  15. Re: Turkey Vest at Wal-Mart? Was at Walmart on Wednesday and while I didn't see vests, they had a whole ton of new mouth calls and long sleeve t-shirts and bibs in the RT APG. I might pick up a mouth call or two but I'm waiting on new camo until hopefully some one does an insulated overall in the RT AP which would be awesome for bowhunting season.
  16. Re: Couple of pics from local 3D Wow, looks like alot of fun! I really want to try 3D now!

    Todays Finds

Re: Todays Finds Wow, nice sheds, especially the first one! Congrats!
  18. Re: Question about arrows...again I keep forgetting I got a $50 check from my Uncle for my birthday:-) Hmm....So if I went with the Bitz jig, I see on AT people mention diff. clamps (right helical, left, etc..) What would I need, since I'm like you Tedi and my arrows aren't helical anyway.
  19. Re: Question about arrows...again Wow, those jigs aren't cheap. Maybe I can find one used on archery talk. What should I look for in a jig if I decide to get one and do my own arrows? any jigs that you can fletch both Blazers or regular vanes in?
  20. Re: newbie here Welcome! Hope you stick around and don't hesitate to ask a question or two or three...lol
  21. Re: I have the flu Yuck, but glad to here you are on the mend. I had this flu over the summer.About 20 or so of us working custodial at the college during the summer, we got it after a picnic (not food poisoning) and it sucked big time! Diarrhea and puking for 2 days is not fun, and I lost 10 pounds over the course of like 3 days.
  22. Re: meat hog Congrats HuntnMa! Sounds like an adventure!
  23. Re: Need some help. hmm...check the NRA (National Rifle Assoc.), also www.findarticles.com I've used that for sources and info when writing papers for college - they have both free articles and ones you have to pay to get.
  24. Re: big bass! A couple years ago while ice fishing, I caught this really big one on a tip up, biggest I'd ever seen in person. Didn't measure it or get pictures but I swear it was just about as round as a football. The thing was on steroids or something. I'd say, from memory it was around 20 inches long??
  25. Re: Valentine\'s Day gift? [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Ordered a dozen long stemmed Red Roses in a Ruby colored vase with chocolates and a little white bear with a red bowtie to be delivered to my wife's work on V-Day. And the big one is I'm taking her on a 7 Day cruise on the 24th. Think she'll like? [/ QUOTE ] Major brownie points for you!!!!! I'd probably pass out if my husband sent me flowers. [/ QUOTE ] LMBO!!!!!!
