Ok, I asked this last week, lol, and I'm asking it again. We got about half a foot of snow here, and still getting more. I think by tonight it'll let up. Anyway I get home at 3pm and I have the choice of A) - go turkey hunting and try to find their tracks, or B) Go try and fill my archery antlerless tag. If I deer hunt, I have a west wind so I'll probably have to hike a mile up in acorn field to get to the stand that is on a logging trail, where hemlocks meet hardwoods. I'm assuming with this snow, the deer are going to be going into the hemlocks for warmth and protection??? So I'm kind of leaning towards deer and we are going to spend Saturday afternoon through Sunday mornign at the neighbors land, where there is a big flock of turkeys and Andy said I could take my gun and try for turkey Sunday morning (obviously he must have asked our neighbor, but the neighbor doesn't care really anyway ) But if I deer hunt tonight, I give up the chance of tracking down the turkeys here. I think my chance lies with deer, but what do you all think or would do?
