  1. Jeramie. Take all the stuff back and take some deep breaths. There are no ducks in Oklahoma. It is a very addicting sport. Good luck Saturday. Todd

    Need dog help!

There is a shot you can give within the first 72 hours after mating to prevent inplant of the fertilized egg. It is very effective but also can have some very nasty side effects. Visit with your vet for best recommendation. todd

  5. I think there are a lot of factors that determine mineral use. Location sure can be one but time of year and forage can also play a role.
  6. I like to plant a variety of brassicas. Hamann Farms makes a nice winter green blend as well as Evolved Habitats (Shot Plot).
  7. Yep--that was a very frustrating game. I really think the defense played a great game. They finally just got worn out and received absolutely no help from the offense. Norman is a tough place to play. You must remember they have only lost 2 games during Stoops' tenure. It's unfortunate though b/c we did have a chance to play in a major bowl this year and next year is going to be a rebuilding year with all our senior heavy team.

  11. that's an awesome buck. Tell your uncle congrats!! todd
  12. congrats. I hit a buck in the hindquarters once. My arrow deflected off a small limb and went right into his back legs. The arrow broke bones in both back legs and fell straight down. I quickly knocked another arrow and put on in the heart. great lookin' buck. todd
  13. I've always been a big fan of wheat. However rye will have a longer growing season. I can't honestly say the deer prefer one over the other in my experience. However--if you have good freezes oats will die where the wheat and rye will stay green all winter.
  14. Both. I currently don't have a perennial plot as I disced it under last year due to weeds. This year I planted 2 acres in Eagle Soybeans. The deer ate on the green forage all summer and now they are eating the bean pods. I watched two bucks yesterday spend a good 30 minutes in the soybeans eating the pods.
  15. I'll second the General. Quietest bow I have every shot. You are correct--the only thing you hear is the arrow hitting the target--and by then it is too late for the deer to duck!
  16. I've had a deer in the back of my truck packed with ice on Thanksgiving day before. Congrats. Can't wait to see the pics. todd
  17. just think--next year he'll have longer tines and more mass. Still a great buck though! todd
