As far as I am concerned I have earned every buck I will ever take. for the twenty years I have killed atleast 4 does every season. I feal I deserve to kill only MONSTER BUCKS. but of coarse I do take one doe to collect pee every year but I let Cole. I think the poit restriction is a good idea if they limit it to adult hunters and youth's second buck.

Your were just jealous cuz you thought they would get one more buck than you !!!! I have a bonus tag and can kill 3 bucks this year, are you cocerned about that ? ONE SHOT ONE KILL!!!!

Last year. They also can buy other tags for regular rifle season if they fill them in the youth season. They also can use them for regular rifle if they don't fill them. The deer they harvest in the youth gun season still counts toward the total season count.

Cole says thanks guys! It still hasn't soaked in that his is bigger than the one I have on the wall, but after it is mounted I'm sure I will hear about it. Now I just have to kill one bigger before season is over!!!!!!!

Or your little bucks are alot bigger than ours !!!!! If a deer big enough to shake my tree came that close his lungs would be full of bubley red stuff.

This last weekend was our youth rifle season. Cole got this buck Sun. evening after seeing 2 giants twice his size that morning. 9 point, 15 inches wide, 8 inch G2s and he weighed 140 pounds.

Activity is really picking up around here. My son and I saw a really nice buck yesterday morning. We will be hunting the Buddy's HOT SPOT tomarrow. It is youth rifle season so Cole gets first choice but I plan on doubleing up on freezer meat. Get us 5 more points anyhow. Nice doe Wimpy! GOOD LUCK GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like our name is REALTREE BONE COLLECTORS. didn't see anything but 2 yotes this evening. We have football practice tomarrow but is suposed to rain all night tonight, all day tomarrow and half of friday. We have flood warnings for next 2 days. GOOD LIKE GUYS !!!!!!!!

We have been useing the acorn rage and the one you screw on the tree. the deer are tareing it up.We use the one on the tree where we have turkeys. Sligguner, Wal-Mart has it here and our farm and Ranch stores (Attwoods, Orchelins, etc.....)

Tony he is kinda small for an Illinois deer aint he??????? Maybe I should come and kill him for ya and claim it for Oklahoma!!!!! That's a goodn' in my book !!!!!!

Saw a few today didn't have any in range when we were ready for them though. Should have a doe after Friday. My son Cole has a special draw hunt this weekend so I will only have Friday to hunt.

So far had 2 little 8s under my stand and saw a giant when driving out last night. going hunt him for a while. May have to pull him off nieghbors when closer to rut. they don't hunt and won't let anyone. GOOD LUCK !!!!

Well I was supposed to off work today for our oppener but was asked to work and run our new machine. but it may be just as well, the wind right now is topping out around 40mph and storms are on there way. should be out all day tomarrow though!!!! GOOD LUCK GUYS !!!!

Ya, I know. This is our close to home spot. So far there is around 12 deer visiting so far.

Been seeing alot of deer all day long. Some good bucks too.1 week and 4 days. Getting edgey very edgey!!!!!

Here is a small veiw of our winter plot we put in behind the house. It is fairly secluded with a natural funnel/bottleneck of a creek and timber/pasture line. Got lucky on the rain. this plot has been in for about 4 weeks. I bought everything that Wal-Mart had except the high dollar Biologic stuff. LET THE SMORGES BOARD BEGIN !!!!!

Cole shot his first buck on opening day of our rifle season last year Nov.'08. A 135# 7 point that broke his main beam and g2 fighting.

As far as the name I vote for Realtree Bone Collectors. And as for deer season, it can't get here fast enough !!!!!! Ours is Oct.1st also. We(my son and I) have 10 different spots on 4 different lands, that are 5-15 miles apart. we will start with behind the house(closest) which is walking distance, during the week and the the others on weekends and vacation days(THANKSGIVING 2 weeks). Time to get in the woods and do some more scouting.
