Re: Pendulum Sights? I have one year under my belt using the Predator IV sight. It takes a little more to set up then others and the pin guard is a little on the big side. All in all I'm very satisfied with it. I can shoot from 5 to 36 yds and hit the same dot, little low at 40, it's very quiet, and very adjustable for the speed of your bow. Last year was the first I wasn't worried about yardage when deer came in. Yardage was actully an after shot thought, to figure how far out my venision lay .

Re: get the broom out Wood just joined the team in LA and is throwing off the bullpen mound, not sure on the projection on Prior. I really hope we get another starting pitcher before the break(don't trust Wood lasting) and I think we could put some pressure on. Doing better then I expected that's for sure.

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #7 Well this bites. I called the landowner of my bread and butter spot to let him know I was coming up Sunday. He said why don't you wait two weeks, so I asked why, he said cause a couple guys that gave him breaks on his new house are in there hunting and he wants them to have it to themselves. I guess I can't blame him but man I was counting on this place, everything has been setup for 7 months. So I'm sort of scrambling right now, I have a couple more options but none super. My scouting down the tube for now, on the bright side I learned something.

I must say though the cards don't look as dominate as the last couple years(in the NL that is ), a couple teams could give them a run for their money.

Re: iowa state cleans house!! ISU will be announcing the hiring of the UNI basketball coach Greg McDermott, and UNI has promoted Benny Jacobson as head coach. I have heard the rumor that because of this hiring the 3 big recruits going to ISU will stay committed and the big 7 footer that was going to UNI will be going to be with McDermott. I think this is an awesome job by Iowa State to grab this guy, he can down right coach. I was hoping the hawks would get him but at lest he's staying in state.

Re: iowa state cleans house!! I heard all the coaching staff was fired and the Uni is under investigation. It don't look good for state, where do you think those high rated recruits that were on their way are going now? It's a shame all the problems that have gone on with Iowa state's recent coaches. Hopefully they'll pull things together. On that note looks like the Hawks may be in search of a new coach too.
