  1. Here's a field pic of Ty and his crack team of moose retrievers lol.
  2. Ty had a half day of school today so after he gathered cows for me he went moose hunting. There's a piece of ground he wanted to check out so he went by himself today. He mouth called this young bull away from a cow withy twin calves and folded him with a 6mm. Pretty proud of his first moose. The tenderloins are tasty stuff.
  3. Well this isn't a deer pic but superguide jr. got his first moose today-called him away from a cow and two calves and spanked him with a 6mm. Dad look a bit proud huh.
  4. I don't think superguide jr. even cashed in his prize certificate from last year-I wish we'd stop all this post count whining and checking in carrying on-some hunt-some talk-some talk and hunt. Maybe everybody just get a life and quit worrying so much about such trivial stuff. Some members can say more in ten posts than others can say in a hundred-verbal diarhea doesn't necessarily make you a more valued forum member.
  5. I'm coaching AA PeeWee and Midget so that will be my icetime I guess.
  6. 'BigMoss' and I went out to try and fill my mulie tag tonite-he got his whitetail buck yesterday. We spied some pretty good horns sticking out of standing oats so Robert videoed while I stalked in. The oats are 4-5 feet high so I got right on top of him-40 yards face on but all I could see was the top of his head and horns. I had to pressure him till he bounced off and shot at him on the move. It sounded like a solid hit and Robert has him on video falling over after about fifty yards. The oats were too high to find him tonight so I guess we'll be looking in the A'M.
  7. Here's superguide jr. with his buck. He apologizes for the tongue hanging out.
  8. Superguide Jr's Mulie I'll post this picture for Ty. We took the tag pic this A'M it's actually a 5x7 so I guess he got you guys 17 points. Guess Daddy will have to show him up.
  9. cinch how far are you from western oklahoma state-superguide jr. might be headed there on a rodeo scholarship.
  10. Superguide Jr. is travelling a thousand miles a weekend to rodeo-helping on the ranch-and is the starting fullback on an undefeated football team. He is having trouble logging in or he would of checked in. Before you all get wadded up and the post count nazi's start chirping-he's not too chatty-he'll tell you all about his hunting when he gets a chance to hunt. If that isn't acceptable deal with it however you see fit.
  11. Well you can barely see over the dash so it could happen. Ty got some nice pics of a pretty nice 5x5 with a kicker tonight-probably 145ish but I think we can do a bit better. My darn photobucket isn't working orI'd post some pics for you.
  12. Up here in Canada you'll scare more deer fumbling around in -30 trying to hit the mouth of the bottle-it's noisy too. I cured guys I guided of handing me frozen jugs of urine by whizzing on the bait pile lol.
  13. Mandy Jo you can't run over them with your oldsmobile either-I'm watching you lol. Good luck shorty lol.
  14. Hi all-superguide here-not sure if I'll get out much till rodeo season winds down but I'll hit the rut hard.
  15. Is Ty still a youth-he turned 17 in February-if there was a mistake when he entered superguide did it lol.
  16. Take her or she might find someone else who will lol. My middle daughter is pretty much a girlie girl but she went out in -30 and killed her whitetail buck last season-got a nice 180 mulie buck too. She doesn't like to kill does though.
  17. It's entertaining and they have alot of skill but I really hesitate to call it hunting-I watch it every week though lol.
  18. I saw a young bronc rider have a 1500 lb saddle bronc step on his cash and prizes on the weekend-there were about 500 other cowboys feeling sympathy pain for him for sure. I think sneezing with broken ribs is right up there-I've broke my back too but dislocated ribs and a good sneeze rate right up there.
  19. Superguide Jr. was 75 on 'Fallen Angel' on Sunday in Williams Lake, B.C.-he came within three points of being the 2008 Canadian High School Bareback Champ. One more year of highschool left so things are looking good-he made the short go in New Mexico at the National Finals. In Williams Lake he wound up third in the All Around-sounds like he might be heading to college stateside on a rodeo scholarship.
