  1. Awesome! Last one's huge! I'm from Macomb...gotta love WIU. I just graduated in May. Take care, Ryan By the way..welcome to the forums!
  2. Hey, Bud..good to hear they're out in Illinois! Push some over to Schuyler County! Dominant bucks, and less dominant bucks, can roam a very large radius. I've always heard that, depending on the land, they'll cover up to and commonly more than a mile. They'll have specific spots where they feel most comfortable though. Figure out where those are, and you're in good shape! Good luck, Ryan
  3. There'll be one full of pictures and stories!!!
  4. What critical thinking skills you have! Haha!
  5. Very nice! That's awesome...
  6. I just got a new grill, but it's a semi auto. HAHA! Kidding...that's awesome!
  7. Horribly sorry to hear about this. Condolences to you and your family. I'm sure your wife will hang in there with you and realize that you're doing your best to deal with what's been handed to you. I like the quote given above..I heard it as "God will never put you in a position that HE can't handle." In other words, give it up to Him. Be receptive to Him. Another one to consider is "When you're down to nothing, God is UP to something!" Hang in there, Buddy. Everything will work out. You have the right intentions for your wife and daughter...that's the most important thing. Let them know they're your priority, which I'm sure you already do. Take care, and let us know WHEN it works out. God Bless, Ryan

    Name that dead thing

Dogfish...definitely. Haha..nice find on the web!
  10. Ditto...index is 101 today. I need to get out and make sure everything is ready and cut some shooting lanes, hang the camera, etc. I'm kinda with Finn...in the process of shooting my bow in the backyard every night instead of going to the driving range. By the way...I'm pretty sure that was a chill in the air, and it gave me goosebumps too. I get so fired up thinking about the night before opening day! Everyone gets on here and wishes everyone else good luck before each respective opening day...It's like Michael Waddell said, "I get kinda emotional sometimes, because this is how I was raised and this is what I love." Take care, Ryan
  11. Cool article! I learned a lot! I had already heard most of it, but some of it is common sense that I'd never put together :-) Thanks! Ryan
  12. Confirmed Griffey today at lunch. I've heard Dunn might end up in Tampa Bay. Not sure about the others listed. Take care, Ryan
  13. Hey..not so fast I guess. I was watching the new Monster Bucks for the second time last night and heard Bill say "This is Jeramie Wallace from Valdosta, Georgia..." Thought that was pretty weird since I just read all these posts and made my own yesterday..haha! Take care, Ryan
  14. There's the insight we needed from the Michigan guy :-) Good info! Thanks, Ryan
  15. One thing I try to do is picture the shot...hitting the ball and imagining the ball rolling and watching it roll in. Also, make sure you're seeing the club hit the ball and looking at the ground for a couple seconds before you look up. Hope it helps! Good luck! Ryan
  16. Think so...they just want to rent him for a few months. They'll have Posada back next year.
  17. MLB hands down. It's like my Superbowl. I tape it every year, along with the home run derby. I have an archive :-) I usually don't schedule anything for those nights and just sit around and watch history take place! The Hall of Famers coming onto the field this year was one of my favorite parts! Take care, Ryan
  18. Sweet! I've coached Little League for 5 years now, and I'm on the board, and I love it. It's always nice to have great coaches! Congrats to your cuz! Ryan
  19. Hmm...they obviously needed to do something about losing Posada, so it's good for them. He wasn't actually playing as much for the Tigers as they would have liked, because he wasn't doing that well. I'll be curious to see what else, if anything was involved with the deal. I guess if both sides are happy, good for them..heh. Ryan
  20. Watched a fair amount of it. They'll be very tough to beat if they keep moving the ball like that. They're definitely going to create a lot of mismatches in the Olympics. Looks good for Ol' Team USA!! Oh, and being a huge Blue Devil fan, it's priceless to see Coach K on the sidelines! Ryan
  21. Agreed...very soft news. If I were any of the pros that were on it talking about their "towns" and why they should win, I'd be a little put off by them picking a high school community. Oh well...good for that town. BTW, I love the "My buddy drove one in high school comment!" Awesome! Take care, Ryan
  22. Angels are the best team in baseball now. They may have been before, but with Teixeira's second halfs the way they are, they'll be there til the end for sure! Good day to be an Angels fan for anyone out there!
  23. Game on! Born4it 22 Illinois Bow: Oct. 1-Jan. 18 Shotgun: Nov. 21-23 and Dec. 5-7 Muzzleloader: Dec. 12-13 Thanks a lot! Take care, Ryan
  24. That second one is trying to be a typical 12! I'd have my sights on that one, but the first one has a little darker face...it might be older like everyone has said. Just an observation. Good luck, and great pictures! Ryan
  25. I don't see why not! I guess I didn't really think about it for a long time or anything, but I would say that since they make bigger holes, they would be better for bigger game! Good luck, and post the pictures of the hole it makes in a bull elk! Take care, Ryan
