As rediculous as it was to miss part of the season in the first place, I'm glad to have hockey back. It's a pretty packed schedule, so it will be interesting to see how thing will go. Teams can move up or down the standings pretty quickly. Let's go Blues! I'm sure I'll get to a few games before the season is over.

Caleb Moore is the guy who just died from the x-games crash. I though I heard that it was the first X-games fatality in 18 years. I remember the first year he and his brother competed in the x-games snowmobile freestyle. When they announced that they were from Texas I though there was no way they could be any good...man was i wrong. These boys could bring it. Tragic loss....he was only 25 I believe. Me and the kids were watching it. He looked like he might have been o.k at the time.

Same here. I'm avoiding it as much as possible. UUUUgh. I can't believe we have 4 more years with this guy....very depressing.

It's all over here. Yesterday was the last day of the season. All in all I had pretty succesful year with a nice buck and two does. It looks like we're a little short on points this year, but it was fun none the less.

The guy is a waste of space. Three work stoppages under his tenure is totally unacceptable. On a brighter note, I'm glad they finally got a deal done. It has been really hard on the local economy. From all the bars, hotels, vendors, and support staff....that's who suffered the most through all this greed. It will be interesting to see how attendance is for the first few games, and if the sponsorship dollars are still there. I'm sure i'll make it to a game or two. Let's go Blues!

I made it out for a few hours Saturday, but never seen a deer. I walked around a little and found another dead one....little squirrely 6 pointer. That makes 4 dead ones i've found this season. down to the final two weeks of the season.

Man, our local Wal-Marts don't have squat left. It seemed like they didn't have quite as much in stock at the start of the season. Now all that's left is clothes.

Yep, photobucket is what i've used for quite a while. There were some other issues with the RT album a few years ago, and I just moved all of my pictures to photobucket and have kept them there. You could load them straight from your computer now also, I believe.

Hmmm. The US beat Canada 5-1. I didn't see that coming. I'll have to see if I can find the re-air when I get home.

Atta boy Rhino! Congrats! He's a toad. The rut seems to have been very sporatic around here too. It's just been a weird year as far as deer movement goes. I didn't get out at all over the weekend. It was a late doe firearm doe season here in Illinois, and sice I'm done doe hunting for the year I just stayed home.

I've always had love for four wheel drive trucks. From the time I was a kid I thought I would be a monster truck driver when I grew up lol. I got into mud bogs and mud drags in high school, and had a blast traveling around a little and racing for a few years. As I moved up in classes it got too expensive and time consuming so I got out of it. I don't get into NASCAR much anymore, but do love the dirt track. I've pitted off and on over the years for some late models and modifieds that my buddies own.

It's a true classic. My kids have that movie and Christmas Vacation on DVD, so we get to see them both year round.

I managed to get out for about 5 hours sunday morning. I seen 14 does, but was holding out for one of the big boys I have trail cam pics of. My season is starting to wind down. I might get one or two more sits in before the season ends.
