I've always been a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". I know some stuff is ridiculously expensive and I stay away from that, but I will splurge a bit on nice camo. I bought a pair of cold weather bibs and jacket from BPS a few years ago. They still look brand new and have held up much better than the previous set of Walls from Wal-Mart. I also have a set of Rivers West pants and jacket. I'd rather spend the money now and get more than a couple of seasons out them.

Like a few others on here, I hunt with an H&R Ultra Slughunter 12 gauge. It's not bolt-action, but it's built specifically with a fully rifled barrell. I've killed plenty of deer with it in the 100-150 yard range. Great gun, especially for the price.

We've got a serious squirrel problem in our backyard. They've chewed through my gas line to my grill and cable wire twice. So a few months ago I invested in a Daisy pellet gun. Shot this guy at 42 yards. This makes 18 I've killed since February.

I think even NASCAR would ban him.

Never hunted there, but have caught some big cats and striper on the lake.
