It will mount to a standard picatiny rail or has the hardware to mount to carry handle. This is Leupold's top of the line tactical scope and retails for $899.99 and higher. I am selling for $750 tyd. 2. College Basketball UNC Tarheels It's been a tough year
  3. Looks good man! I had my F-150 leveled a couple years ago. It makes a huge difference in appearance and ability to run larger tires. Here is a before and a couple after pics of mine. BEFORE AFTER
  4. Congrats! I don't think they even sell, or would know where to get a plow for my 4wheeler around here....thank God.
  5. Well, I wouldn't say out of context, it was a pretty straight forward comment.
  6. I did this last year, and it's a great way to get guys and gals signed up, or re-signed. I felt like I should pay this year, and got the 1/2 off 2 year membership thanks to the link! Thanks for posting.
  7. Hey everyone, let me start out by saying, this isn't a bash on Michael thread. He just said something on the latest episode of BC that kind of struck a nerve with me, and was curious if anyone else caught it, or had any feelings on it. Nick was hunting in British Columbia and they were talking about a plant called a skunk cabbage that the Bears fed on. Michael said, "That sounds like something poor folks have to eat. I don't want to eat that". I know we have all said things that we regret, I certainly have. But with the luxury of film editing I felt like that should have been left out, especially if Michael truly knew his "audience" (i.e. hard working, blue collar Americans, and many struggling to make ends meat in our current economy). Maybe I'm overreacting. I'm a pretty laid back guy that takes what most people say with a grain of salt and don't get worked up over too much. Like I said, it just struck a nerve. I don't think he meant any harm by it, I just think it should have been left off. Thoughts?
  8. My first was a Hen. NC has a one week winter season in the mountain counties where either sex is permitted (only bearded birds are legal in our Spring Season). I will always remember it not only because it was my first bird, but because I got to share the experience with my Dad. Hunting them in the Winter is tough, because they aren't vocal and don't respond to calls. You basically have to stalk/ambush them. We hunted up and down the mountain all day with no success, so decided to sit in this old junk school bus on the property we hunted along a large field where we had seem some birds the previous afternoon. They came back in (all Hens) and walked straight towards the bus. Dad counted to 3 and we both shot, killing two of them. I may have a picture somewhere that I can scan later.
  9. that is a good deal but for 10 more bucks i can get the camo one to match my benelli
  10. typically i will wait on a gobbler. if i get down to the last week of the season and have a shot at a jake i will take him. i usually have a few opportunities at gobblers with 10"+ beards, so I wait.
  11. Thanks for all the info Rhino! I will keep looking around. I have until April before our season opens, so I have some time to find the best deal.
  12. As my eyes are getting older, and I have to strain more and more each year to aim with my fiber-optic pins, I'm thinking about investing in a HOLOsight this year. All of the reviews I have read have been positive, but just wanted to see if anyone in here used one, and what their opinion was. Also, what brand do you have. I'm looking at a Bushnell HOLOsight on ebay that has a buy it now price of $269.00
  13. Welcome in Larry. Grab some popcorn and enjoy the "show". :eat:
  14. It won't stream for me. keeps trying to load, with no success.
  15. Ok, talked to Dad. He said the drive from NM was over 1700 miles and total drive time was around 30 hours. Him and his buddy did it in 2 days. I would rather pull my fingernails out.
  16. It's definitely a year round thing for me. I have a couple of leases here in NC, so there's always something to do, and it keeps the anticipation up!
  17. I absolutely hate to drive, even to hunt. Proof of this is that the land I lease is 15 minutes from my front door. But when I went out to Montana to hunt the Milk River, I think we had to drive 5 hours or so from Billings to camp. If there was an airport in Hinsdale I would have flown there. That's what airplanes are for! My dad drove from New Mexico to Charlotte, NC from an Elk Hunt. Not sure the mileage, but too dang far for me.
  18. Well, he was the owner at one point, but eventually gave him to Cesar.
  19. Same ones that write Obama's speeches.
  20. For those of you that watch Cesar Milan on the "Dog Whisperer", I got an email last night that his Pit Bull, "Daddy" passed away yesterday. Daddy would go with him on a lot of his visits to help with other dogs. Personally, for me, I felt like he proved a lot of doubters wrong about a misunderstood breed. He was 16 years old. R.I.P. "Daddy"
  21. My wife and I dated for two years, became engaged, got married 2 years later. The main reason we waited two years after the engagement was that she was still in college and we waited until she graduated.
  22. Jeramie, I run mostly 52" mowers. I have a 48" and a 42" for backyards that are small or have gates that my 52's won't fit through. If you have an open yard, you'll appreciate the extra 10". Also, if you can find one with a Kawasaki engine, that would be my first choice. I run all Kawasaki's after having issues with Kohler.
