  1. I just recently bought a new one, about 2 weeks ago and really like it. It's an HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m. It's a printer/copier/scanner all-in-one with touch screen controls. It also has wireless capability. I got it on sale at Staples for $89.99 + tax. I use it for everything (personal, business, photos, etc.). Great deal imo. Here is a link if you want to check it out. Looks like the sale is over at Staples, but you could probably find it cheaper somewhere else. Anyway, I would recommend it for the extra $50 if you can't. http://www.staples.com/HP-Photosmart-Plus-All-in-One-Printer/product_805147?cmArea=SEARCH
  2. Our 7 1/2 year old Boxer, who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and arrhythmia almost 3 years ago passed away this week. About a month ago she started having complications and stopped eating. I think she had had enough, and knew it was time. If there is anything good about it, is that she passed away peacefully in her sleep in the bed with me and my wife. It doesn't make it any easier but I'm glad she didn't suffer and that we didn't have to make the decision to put her down. We've been down that road before and I was dreading that. Anyway, she was a part of our family and just wanted to share the news, and a picture of our sweet "Layla".
  3. Wish I knew you guys were meeting up. Bass Pro is less than 30 minutes from my driveway. It's always cool to meet fellow members.
  4. In my 32 years, I've never had one. We are suppose to get some snow tomorrow and Saturday, and they are saying there's a possibility of some on Christmas day (if you can believe the 7 day forecast). It's very rare that we get snow in December so I'm not holding my breath, but it would be pretty cool.
  5. Had ours up a couple weeks. My wife and I have a tradition that every year the Sunday after thanksgiving we always go pick out our tree. 10' Frasier Fir here in NC
  6. Received my package from Steve Beilgard over the weekend. Steve you outdid yourself! Thanks for all the great stuff. The only thing not pictured is a pair of Team Realtree "Croakies". I had already put them on my sunglasses when I took the picture.
  7. It was an amazing trip. One I will never forget, and will do again in the future. Get out you wallet though, it wasn't cheap. It was a 5 day hunt, however if you get there early, they will go ahead and take you out on stand. The amount of deer you will see each day is unbelievable. Basically the money you pay to the outfitter includes one buck, room and board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the most prime locations in the area to hunt. The guides scout a lot of hours so you can be sure to see lots of deer/bucks. What isn't included of course is air fare, rental car (lodge is 4 hours from Billings), and your license/tag. I think the license was around $500, and round-trip air was around $600. You can go to the website and click on rates for what they charge. It changes every year. This is the same guide that Michael Waddell and Bill Jordan go to hunt and film their shows. First class guides.
  8. Count me in. I look forward to this every year! unioncountyslayer
  9. Dad and I made the Milk River Outfitters photo album from our hunt last year. Pretty cool stuff! My picture is on the fourth row, 2 picture from the left with one of the guides, and the next picture over is Dad and me with his 10 point. Check it out here: http://www.milkriveroutfitters.com/Whitetails.aspx
  10. Not counting a bb gun, my first "real" gun was a Marlin 30/30. I really wish I had kept it, for sentimental value.
  11. Awesome looking buck! Congrats! I'd guess somewhere in the low 140's.
  12. He's smart, good lookin', funny, and just one heck of a good guy. I should know, I'm him. :clown:
  13. Craig's doing well. In fact really well today, killed a big ol slick-head with the Mathews.
  14. Give G5's a shot. I alternate between the Montecs and Strikers
  15. I hunted with Milk River Outfitters last year. Eric and all the guys are first class, and know what they're doing. I'm pretty sure they had a 100% kill on deer last year. One of the top 3 best experiences of my life. If you have the money, it's worth it.
  16. HONDA! I have a Honda Rancher AT 400. The new ones have upgraded to a 420cc. The thing I like best about the Honda's and this particular model is that they are fully hydro-driven (no belts) and you can switch between manual shift and automatic. Pre Lift Kit Post Lift Kit
  17. WOW, we're still in the mid 80's Ruth. I really hate deer hunting in the humid air of NC, so I hope it turns cool soon!
  18. Well, I broke down and bought an iPhone today. It's definitely got a lot of cools apps that I'll use, but it's going to take some getting use to after having a blackberry for so long. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's only carried by AT&T, and the coverage isn't as good as Verizon. Anyone else have one?
