i agree, if you think about it if two guys have the same bow and it has a 7in brace height and 1 guys draw length is 30 in and the other guys is 28 the guy with the 28 in draw has the advantage because the arrow is off the string quicker and therefore out of the bow quicker I could be wrong but thats the way i see it. a bows forgiveness has as much to do with its powerstroke as it does with brace hieght bcause after all inches are inches right?

Being married with 2 great children and a passion for hunting and fishing its hard to make time for anything else. My wife doesnt hunt or fish with me very often and is always telling me she wants something we can both enjoy so i bought here this.... btw she has been wanting one for a few years so i guess i should call it her little pony.

thanks guys so what if i did the ol hold it away from your body trick everyone else does. heck when my boy kills his first squirrel im gonna teach him to do that. haha oh and yes it was catch and release, I cant think of a single bass ive ever taken from the water besides to stock my neighbors pond.

first off good luck, Find out his primary food source and key in on it.he will probobly bed very close to it and only move early and late during hunting hours. i usually give up this plan when the rut closes in and hunt funnels to catch them cruising for does and when the rut is in full swing i hunt the does bedding areas in morning and feeding areas in evening just my $.02 good luck again

went wade fishing for smallies in a local creek about an hour b4 dark with my brother on sat. evening, caught 2 on a bass assasin fluke, one was maybe the biggest ive ever caught in 15+ years of wading a remote section of the creek. i laid it across my arm and had my brother mark it with some mud, after geting back to his house we measured it to be 20" which i know is as long as others i have caught but this one was a lot thicker than im used to catching. any way not to ramble can anyone give me a guess on weight . 20" smallmouth absolutly full of eggs. thanks in advance, Jesse

I went out this morning heard 1 ,maybe 2 couldnt tell, off the roost. after that nothing, put out a hen and jake deke around 9:30 ,called in 2 2yr olds by 10. shot the one with the thickest beard since everything else looked the same. 22.10 lbs 10 3/4 beard spurs were 25mm just an average 2 year old but suits me fine. the only bad part is now im done. any ways good luck to ya on sat. -
here are the pics of my gun and pattern

well im still wating to hear from you guys who shoot the nitro rhino combo.
-
well i cant for the life of me figure out how to post a pic. can someone help me out? i go to the photo post but cant find an icon to click to download a photo. im getting mad.

well this morning i went out and tested some new hevi-13 3.5 #6 1 3/4 oz. WOW!! i shot 2 shots at 40 yds from a clean barrel . temp 50 deg. 3-5 mph wind 48% humididity. not the best conditions for optimal pattern but consistant with hunting conditions. I havnt figured out how to post pics yet since they changed the site but will. anyway. out of both shots they both had 172 hits each in a 10 in circle at 40 yds. btw that was with a mad supermax hevishot tube. the next closest was a win xxmag 3.5 2 1/4 oz #6 and a stardot .676 it had averaged 135 hits out of 2 shots. one question though how many hits in 10 in circle are you guys getting with nitro rhino combo. i have considered trying it.

Re: truglo holographic sight. ok i was under the impression by the ads that the brightness setting was automatic. im glad it does have a manual dial. thanks again for the info.
-
Re: truglo holographic sight. yeah the truglos are about 200 at natchezz and more everywhere else. glad to hear about it from someone bcause i dont know anyone who has it. just went out on a limb and guessed it would b ok. the only thing i was worried about was the auto rheostat or however you spell it. i know brightness is the issue with most reddots on a sunny spring morning or afternoon. anyway thanks for the input

Re: Check out this pattern!!! the are so close its hard to say which is better because on was at 38 and one at 40 also they were shot 1 year apart so the conditions were different. believe it or not but 30% humidity vs 80% humidity will make that much difference it your pattern. dont write one or the other off until theyve been given a fair chance. also the barrel should be it the same condition for each shot

I just ordered a truglo trupoint holographic sight on friday. its scheduled to be here tuesday the 27th. I cant wait. i had a cheap 2.5 power shotgun scope but after less than 10 shots of regular highbrass to get it sighted it the picture went blurry. so i sent it back to bass pro and bought the truglo from natchez. its going on my 835. it has fiber optic sights from the factory but it shoots left even with the sight as far right as it will go. also bought a supermax hevishot tube and some 3.5 #6 hevi shot. Sorry to ramble but my wife was tired of hearing about it. will show pics and test targets within a week or so.

Re: 17HMR or .223??? 223 for sure but id steer away from the handi rifle only because of the 500lb trigger pull. no seriously it does have a horrible trigger.

Re: GO COLTS!!!! wait a minute you dont know if he was feeling sorry for himself or if he had to poop or if he was sick from all the anxiety. he might have been praying. and also the defense allowed alot of points to be scored so the win doesnt go entirely to them. how many times did they leave ppl wide open? any way im really excited about it. and hope they win it all

Re: choke question thanks guys
-
Re: choke question that doesnt answer my question. i want to know what is the largest sieze shot recommended for a .676 choke in a mossberg 835
-
Re: Considering a new .22 semi... i have a t/c 22 classic. I have shot it side by side with remmington ruger and kimber 22s and the kimber was the only 1 that shot with my t/c(actually a little better than my t/c) but its a bolt action and should be more accurate. oh yeah i for got to mention my brothers henry lever action. but then again in the accuracy dept. its not worth mentioning. fun to shoot those lever guns are.

I have a moss. 835 my choke is a .676 i.d. what is the recommended shot size? i was thinking 6 since 835 has a 10ga bore and 676 is really tight for 10ga. i know ive seen shot size charts out there somewhere but cant remember where.

Re: Cant get it right i used the t7 primers from winchester this year. i would say it cut the fouling down by 20-30% and my groups went from 2 in at 50 yards to about 3/4 in at 50. swabing between shots
