Re: More South Dakota Roosters No there is a lot our there... We were around Brookings and closer to Watertown... There is plenty but they are pretty wild-flushing out and running ahead way out of shotgun distance!!

Just finished the rest of my lic. this week for pheasants in South Dakota. TONS-TONS-TONS of BIRDS!!! It was great! Got in some great quick shooting and the dogs got to do a lot of working.... Here are a few pics: This guy was looking right at me.... Here is my three bird limit for one day with K.O. (She is 13 years old)... Here is a pic of me and Max (the youngen).. I am so proud of him-I knocked a rooster down and he started to run and Max sprinted and caught the rooster while he was hauling rear...It was cool! Last but not least... I tried to get a decent picture of this little deer... it was like a scene right out of Bambi on the ice... It was fun to watch Behind "Bambi" is an abanden farm and woods that the owner let's no one hunt... However we counted over 50 deers within a 1 mile square radius-I kid you not! So next year I am going to do some asking but I know where I need to be next year with bow in hand... ready to rock!

Re: Turkey gun ????????? For me I use to hunt turks with the 835 but it is too clunky gun for myself carrying around hunting...and I thought it kicked like a moose.. I now have a Browning Gold Hunter NWTF turkey edition and love it... shorter barrel, great pattern with the turkey choke, doesn't kick as bad and worth the investment... just my opinion though.
