  1. Love that Chicken fried! Have a great time!
  2. Hope you guys get what you need down there Tink. When I was in the Hill country last month, I saw flood gauges all over, just about at every river crossing. It gets might dry down there for sure. Amazing how so much survives on such little water.
  3. Nice gift! Don't swing them in the house...stuff gets broken:D. Have fun with the new clubs.
  4. Been away a few days, boy did I miss stuff. Tims takin' a hammerin'!
  5. OR.... How about this guy named Timothy Andrus :eek::eek: http://www.oag.state.tx.us/agency/weeklyag/2007/0907evader_andrus.pdf The things people find on google:D. Sorry Tim, it was just too good to pass up:p
  6. That IS good news Luke. Continued prayers.

    Here it is

Very Nice job, Ken;). Quite handy in the wood shop I see.
  8. Adorable:). Its looks like it was a blast and the kids seemed really into it too. I think I got a little history lesson also with some of those names:D. Great pics, thanks for sharing them.

    Chumps...

Biden has NEVER got it. Nor will he ever. What wimps the US has become with BHO and Biden as our leaders:(. Our poor children, the future is quite bleak for them.
  10. Great read for sure. Thanks for posting it.
  11. I hear what you are saying, but Hope may not be good enough. I think it is a better bet to become proactive rather than reactive to this. Get those fingers typing and the letters written folks. Get on the horn and contact your legislators and tell them what you think!
  12. My son Joe called me in his room last night to show me this on the news. Yup, the deer usually get hurt in incidents like that.
  13. WOW! Amazing...I hear that this legislation is also picking up speed in Kalifornia( no, not a misspelling). Banning lead bullets will essentially shut down hunting and make it so cost prohibitive...here comes "Change"
  14. Welcome back, and sorry to hear about your misfortune. Tough times are getting many of us in the cross hairs. Good Luck on the interviews that you went on. One door closes and another will open. Hunt safe and glad to have you back;)
  15. Great job and because of folks like you and other LE, people are safer on the streets of their towns;). Keep up the good work!
  16. Never too old to get into hunting. Jump on in with both feet, the water is fine. For most of us here, hunting is not just a sport. It is a way of life. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about hunting, shooting and if it is may 1st, spring Turkey or October deer season yet:D.
  17. Welcome in advance to the Evil Black rifle club...Muhaaaaaa:D. A purchase you will not regret;) Look here too for great info www.ar15.com Don't forget to pick up a few mags too, 20's 30's. I don't know about Iowa, but in NY we cannot hunt with a semi that holds more than 5 rounds. So that might be a purchase you will want to add. The gun might come with one though. A few links for 5 rounders. I have MWG mags $13 ea. http://www.mwgco.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?page=MWG/PROD/AR-15_MAGAZINES/MWG-223-005 http://www.galatiinternational.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=GIO&Product_Code=BW1553 http://www.centerfiresystems.com/promagar-155rdpartmagar-pm01.aspx Get 'em while you still can! Enjoy!
  18. Prayers headed your way Luke. Hope it passes over her.
  19. Joe and I will be out in our turkey woods this weekend for a bit. Getting on some crows, turkey scouting and shed hunting. My team name suggestion is out there. How about some input from the other teammates? Anyone...anyone...Bueller...Bueller:D
  20. Interesting question... When I am usually in the woods hunting, I am carrying not only a weapon, but a video camera and digital still cam also. I would take its pics and become the new guy getting his 15mins of fame on the news. I know you say "Baa" to get a deer to stop. What do you say to Bigfoot. Hey! I got your stimulus check right here!...then boom! I don't think I would shoot it. In NY, albino and piebald deer are not protected species when in season, and that is a recessive gene. So the herd benefits from its harvest. Not to mention the unique mount.
  21. I'll keep my eyes peeled Steve.

    Post counter

So I guess we can expect to see post count redistribution soon too huh? You know..., to help those with less of a post count:p
  23. Awesome news Randy... look for Sherwood forest and show that Robin Hood a thing or two . Have a great time and a safe trip! Will that ever air here in the states?
  24. We have been seeing some fresh, or at least they look to be fresh rubs. But most of the flat heads we've been seeing all have empty pedicles. So I would imagine some of the bucks still have their head gear for those fresh rubs to be around.
