I'm going to show my age on this one, but I remember Jack Creamer who shot for Jennings showing me the first Cam Bow at Larry Wise's garage and telling me how he shot through a deer with it. LOL I remember wondering why you would want to shoot completely through a deer. We had some pass throughs in those days but most shot did not go completely through the deer. I have never shot through a shoulder, I have hit them but never got through one. I shoot 70 lb. with a 25.5 draw length. I usually er to the back of the rib cage instead of towards the shoulder. I have taken deer with fixed and expandables and have yet to have one complain about which I was using. I do like the rage, but hear me I only take high margin shots. I won't take any slightly quartering to shots, no hard angle quartering away shots. and never straight down, my set up wont allow them. If you are willing to accept the limits of the equiptment you use then use it. If not stick with a rifle. JMO
