    One more shift.

Re: One more shift. What are ya gonna do with all that time off?
  2. Re: hunters I have a small list of folks who want animals so I often just give them to them instead of p[aying to give it to FHFH.
  3. Re: Game Animals ? True trophy muleys, followed by either elk or sheep.
  4. check this out. www.outdooraction.com
  5. Re: Motorola RAZR? If you drop it more than once it will never work again. Also I don't get service as many places I did when I had a phone with an antena. Mine has been replaced twice under warranty. I'd adviose against it.
  6. Re: Just How Many Of Us Are There?? Quality hunting is becoming harder and harder to come by. A good number of hunters also don't want to pay for a hunt every year. Not to mention all the activites kids are in now takes time away from family type people who would spend that extra time in the woods. Kids also suffer from this. Who wants to miss a sports practice to hunt when it means you won't play that next game. More and more changes to game laws and regulations as well as bag limits. People never accept change easily and I think it is flowing over into hunting. The nice thing about bowhunting is the extended season over most rifle seasons, which give hunters a few more chances to get out, but on the other hand the success rate is diminished by doing so. All we can do is promote our hobby as much as possible and encourage as many as we can to hunt.
  7. Re: Waffle House I love sonic. I eat their atleat twice while coming and going to my hitch when i go offshore.
  8. Re: Waffle House [ QUOTE ] Waffle houses are small. dirty and the people you see there are scary at some times. But well worth it for the delicious treats they serve up. Their hash browns are great. Anyone who doesnt like WH would "wear feathers to a ministers funeral". Anyone know that reference [/ QUOTE ] Good refrence to a great movie right there.
  9. Re: Elk Contest Team 1 Where the heck are you jokers?
  10. Re: Team 7 thread My crew is MIA too. Dont feel bad.
  11. Re: Beginner of BIG Game Hunting Remember that mopst western applicatins are due in early in the year. Jan- April is common for most. Might also conside a deer or antelope hunt the first year as they are easy to come by and land is readl=ily available in the southeastern Montana Prairie.

    Bad car accident

Re: Bad car accident Ikes. Hope everyone is OK
  13. Re: Anybody besides me? Mine are up. I never take them down. I take the padded seats when I leave and thats about it. I did check and see that they were all useable the other day. No trees falling on them or anything so I guess I'm ready to go.
  14. Re: Comparing Texas and Saskatchewan Here is the website http://www.boone-crockett.org/ I can't find it but they uses to have a coloer coded map of the areas producing the most trophy's. You could also go to a librayr or a book store and check out the B&C book Records of North American Big game yourself. On the website they have a number for their office in Montana, a call to them might also help you out.
  15. Re: Wish me luck! Good Luck
  16. Re: Ok, I\'ve made up my mind, now which version. To answer your question I like the look of the second one better. Now about the caliber, I have taken quite a few antelope and a few deer with a 22-250 shooting 58 gr bullets. If she shoots it in the ribcage inside 100 yards you'll be hauling a deer out of the hills. Good luck you the young hunter.
  17. Re: Beginner of BIG Game Hunting I deer hunt out their most years and would be more than happy to help you with a muley.
  18. Re: Beginner of BIG Game Hunting Find someone from here, or a local to show you the ropes, even if it means making a couple scouting trips with you. Also get your hands on some maps of U.S Forest Service, National Forest, National Grassland, and BLM maps. Montana also has a program called Block Management you might want to find some of those properties as well. Buy the best European optics and go after it.
  19. Re: where\'s team 6? Your team is probably the same place mine (team 1) is, MIA. Good luck up there.

    Cowboy Hats

Re: Cowboy Hats I have a straw hat to wear in the summer, and I have a felt hat to wear in the wineter, and one of each for dress. Here is my everyday felt hat. This was a pic of one of my hunters with a buck he killed while Steve B was helping me guide last fall.
  21. Re: help wanted How do you get an oilfield job like that gator? Do you work in the Anadarko or Arkoma areas of OK, Texas, and Arkansas?
  22. Re: Waffle House We don't have them in this part of the country. Working offshore though a few of us eat there before the chopper comes for us. I think they are small, dirty, nasty and not very good food. IHOP is also opem 24 hrs and I like them better but thats just my 2 cents. Don't kill me now guys.
  23. Re: Any muley or elk hunter going yet? [ QUOTE ] Deer and Elk start here in Montana on Saturday. My first time out will be on the 6th. This weekend I will be be trying to stick an antelope. [/ QUOTE ] Good luck with that stinkey speed goat.
  24. Re: help wanted [ QUOTE ] It's times like this I wish I wasn't married. Oh well, I gots me an oilfield job, it ain't dirty, I work 5 days a week, pay is good, company truck, so I really can't complain!! [/ QUOTE ] Gator, what are you a company man? Drilling superintendent or what?
  25. With quite a few elk and deer seasons now rolling in the west I'm wondering who's been out yet and where are the pics?
