I know what you mean by dirty play....kinda like when Gary Roberts sucker punched Johan Franzen last year????? Or Matt Cooke's intentional knee to knee hit on Erik Cole, or Kunitz cross checking a goalie (varlamov) in the throat?? Kronwall is a big hitter, sometimes bigger than he needs to be maybe. But I dont think he is out to take guys out of the game. He is one of the few open ice checkers (who are good at it). Hits in the open tend to be more violent then ones that are absorbed by the glass. Pens fans used to love play like that....Ulf Sammuelson and Darius Kasparaitus were the kings of big, questionable hits for a while. Just my opinion....

Man if the Wings could have pulled off a win tonite, I think it would have taken the wind right out of Chicago's sails for sure. The Hawks gave up a 3 goal lead and it went into OT. Hawks won it in OT:mad:. If you guys didnt watch the game, you gotta see the hit that Kronwall put on Havlat....he was out cold for a bit!! He never came back in...hopefully he will brush the snow off his skirt and play on sunday:D:D. I was kinda upset that they gave Kronwall a 5min major and a Game Misconduct penalty for the hit. It looked clean and legal to me!! Not his fault Havlat was skating with his head down....

Been waiting on them crappies around here too..seems we can never get a few nice sunny days in a row though to really heat up that water. Caught about 15 of them today out in the deeper water, but they were small.....none of the delicious 10-12 inchers:D

I hate attributing sloppy play to injuries, but I think the fact that Rafalski, Draper and Lilja arent playing is starting to take its toll. As great as Chelios once was, he just cant keep it up with the younguns anymore. Ericson is playing good but man Id love to see those three back out there!! Also I dont know why but it seems the Wings cant get pucks to the net except for wild slappers from defensmen. I dont know whats up with the Pens...that was a wild game the other nite though...hat tricks and all.

Also just heard that the Coyotes just filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and may be bought out and moved to Ontario...interesting.

And all these 'fans that loved him all those years', if you are so emotionally attached to a football player, that it bothers you when he plays for another team.....you belong in the looney bin as far as Im concerned.:D Those people are 'Favre fans' not Packer fans. I understand that pro athletes are supposed to be ' role models' and all this and that...but again, compared to some other athletes he looks like Mother Theresa:cool:

I personally dont have it...I dont think (fingers crossed). A friend of mine had it many years back, at least the doctors think he did:rolleyes:. Well, to me it doesnt really matter who he plays for next or if he doesnt ever throw a football on the pro field again. It was great to watch him in the green and gold back in his prime, that will never change in my mind. No matter what he does, you cant argue that he was one of the best QB's. If this was any other player, it would be no big deal. Players go and play for their former teams rivals all the time. Darren Sharper, Ryan Longwell both went to the vikes, no big uproar there. And Longwell was (and may still be) the Packers leading scorer. Its obvious the guy loves to play football, whats so wrong with that?? Id say compared to alot of other players shooting up nightclubs, or themselves in nightclubs, or beating their wives, or selling drugs, Favre going and playing for a rival aint all that bad. And if doing it because of a grudge against GB..so what. It seems he was run out of town, so maybe he has a good reason to hold a grudge. We (GB) have a new quarterback that has some great potential, so what ever Brett does should be of no concern (other than ON the field) to GB or its fans. And as far as him and his agent playing ' contract games', find one well known player who doesnt.

I just put the tail and the beard (not this year cuz he didnt have one lol) in one of those wooden plaques. My dad and I have been experimenting with making our own. I think a full mount of a strutting tom or one gobbling or a both would be cool. I just dont have the money or the place to put one just yet.
