Great pics!! I was hoping to get up to your neck of the woods for some fishing this summer, but with gas prices i dont think im going to make it .... Sure is great up there...keep taking them pictures so i dont forget what it looks like!!:D

This new fad that is going around is pretty strange, and i personally dont see why anyone would want to act that way....but you know...if someone told me I could make boat loads of money by putting on a wig and some make-up once in a while....that would mean more time in the woods because i wouldnt have to work anymore...:eek:

I am by no means any kind of expert on fossil fuels...but is there really a shortage of oil/fuel ?? or is it just the fact that the folks we buy oil from finally got smart and realized they can charge us whatever they want for it...?? Reducing laps, less cars etc. is kind of silly if you ask me. If these folks can afford to play, let 'em, its entertaining. Maybe we should all hunt and fish less too...save the fuel it takes to drive to the huntin' grounds.

I like to watch animals as much as anybody else (even when not hunting), but that guy obviously belonged in the nut house not out making friends with " Mr. Chocolate". I saw the film, i found his antics entertaining although they far exceeded any kind of reason. And i dont feel bad for the guy one bit...you play with fire, your going to get burned. And i also agree that this nonsense should not be " promoted" by Cabelas or any other pro hunting company. Can you imagine if that was any one of us out there hunting and we broke all those park laws and what not...?? The anti's would have a field day with it!!

i agree that the kids should have been buckled up...but i disagree that any kind of charges should be brought up. Unless drugs or alcohol lead to the crash of course. Accidents happen unfortunately....

Look for dark bottom bays on the north side of lakes.. they tend to warm up faster then the rest of the lake. Warm water gets the food chain moving... Also if the wind blows pretty hard in one direction for a day or two it will stack up the warmer surface water on the downwind side of the lake. That can get the fish active. Good Luck!

Im probably gonna end up gettin a bike myself...but its not goin to be a rice rocket. It will save money on gas especially on longer trips (i tend to take a 140mile one way trip several times a month). Insurance wont be too bad i dont think, you only have to insure it for half the year. Why insure it when its stored for the winter. You only live once so might as well have fun!! Be Safe!!

Along with responsibilities that come along with becoming an adult, there are also the freedoms and decisions that you get to make all by yourself...and besides..its only a tattoo. And with the rent thing....when I turned 18 my folks made me pay rent, which was fine. But i told them i wanted to be treated like a tenant ( within reason obviously). A little ink isnt going to change who she is....

Afraid i cant help you with the minnow question...the few times i use live bait i just buy a few dozen and throw away what i dont use. As for the line for walleyes...I fish walleyes on rivers, so i use 8lb mono line. I think Trilene is what i use. The 8lb is strong enough to fight fish in the current, yet is still easy to break when your jig gets snagged up.

Good Luck!! I passed my class A test a few years back. Had myself all worked up worrying about that pre-trip. It really wasn't so bad..im sure you will do just fine. Read over the books and hope you get a decent tester

Seen a few flying around the trees during turkeys season too....kinda neat to watch!
