Not sure if the snowmobile/deer idiots the article talks about was posted here or not, but ill explain it. Some other morons came across deer in a field while riding their idiotmobiles. The snow is so deep that the deer had trouble getting away, so these guys ran them down with the machines and killed/tortured them. WI snowmobile club offered $10,000 reward for info, They were found today. Though not for me, i see no problems with high fence hunting. I wont criticize the way someone hunts because i wouldnt like it done to me. (As long as it is done ethically) Although technically because of the fences, i personally, dont see how the animals can be 'wild' or 'free ranging'. I will say i am certainly not impressed by the 'high roller' types who pay ridiculuous amounts of money to take a nice deer that, like mentioned before, would most likely share an apple for lunch with me.

Pretty sure us ' outdoorsy' folks who like to hunt and take part in LEGAL gun activities are going to be in for a change...unfortunately. Not much will change for the gun-totin gangster wannabes, except they will get some more money from the gov't. I hope the Obama supporters realize there isnt gonna be a check in ther mailbox everyday courtesy of the rich people.....sometimes my fellow Americans upset me!!

I used to come onto the chat way back in about 2001'ish. Nick was not a mod at that time, and we actually used to get kicked off once in a while for creating new usernames such as 'Bill Jordan" or "Michael Waddell" and pretending to be them. Ahh what fun! I was surprised to see Nick again when i logged on to the site again last year after not coming here for a good 5-6 years. He will surely be missed...

My opinion wont change. It just disappointed the fans to not have a good burnout at the end of the race. Thats kinda like apple pie without ice cream...

Went and watched the Nationwide race at the Mile last nite. Good time for sure....Milwaukee race fans are a bit sour at Edwards though. Almost everybody cheered for him as he took the checkered flag....but he was soon boo'd in the winners circle for not doing any burnouts or backflips or even celebrating much at all. He told the media it was to show respect to Kalitta who was killed earlier... Can you really see a drag racer being upset about a burnout??? And the people next to us had scanners and said that Carl told his crew he didnt do any burnouts because " we dont celebrate like that here". Well i dont think we would shed a tear if you dont come back to the Milwaukee Mile Mr. Edwards unless that attitude towards your fans changes.

Got some pretty good sized spiders around here...but nothing as big as them suckers!!! Like to keep it that way too .

It was like that on sat...not very warm in the morning i tell ya..and pretty breezy. was musky fishing in front of one of my favorite duck squashing weedbeds and had a flock of bluebills buzz by the boat going about 80mph with the wind.....had me confused as to what month it was:D:eek:.. im sure i will probably be shunned for admitting this here...but i by no means consider myself a religious person( a whole other topic i wont go into..) But i do not see how religion of any shape or creed can have that big of an affect on society and government. Last time i checked "thou shalt not kill" was one of the ten commandments... and here we are with our ' religiously influenced" govt at war killing who knows how many people everyday. Not much of what our founding fathers wrote is still applicable as it was written in my opinion..it has to be 'translated' into present day applications... Constitution also says i have the right to bear arms...and i dont think they meant i can wear shirts with my sleeves cut off. But its still illegal for me to carry a concealed weapon where i live....gov't isnt following that part of the constitution either.. Im still on your side..all that homo stuff is disgusting!! but it aint hurting me any, so i guess i can tolerate it.

I agree with you for the most part...Its definately something i personally would never take part in lol but on the other hand, these folks are taking advantage of what makes this country so great....The freedom to do what makes them happy. And the way i see it... just because two people dont have a piece of paper that says they are married, doesnt make them any less homosexual.

I like that i am going to leave in a few minutes to take a drug test for my new job that i am going to be starting in the next two weeks...!!! :D The new job is going to be putting the vinyl ads onto the billboards along the highway etc. Ill have to get back to you later as to what i like about it...lol :cool:

Dale Jr. , Jimmy Johnson, Carl Edwards and a few others are in town practicing on The Milwaukee Mile this week. I can hear them as i type this. Like to go in and watch for a while...but i just aint got the time... Sure would like to though!!:D

Location is Key as mentioned above...! I only hunt puddle ducks on opening weekend here in WI. Since our season opens so early (too early IMO) i found that putting out more hen decoys than drakes seems to work better, the drakes dont have all there coloring yet when season opens here. Not sure if that is the case by you or not. I like to hunt doves near some kind of water in the evening. Seems they always go get a little sip of water before they roost for the nite.

Didnt see the show, but that is pretty lame... Kinda like them police chase shows when you can hear the tires squealing from the helicopter cam...

Friend of the family has a cabin down Peeksville road on off of hwy 13 between Park Falls and Glidden. Thats normally where we stay...hope to get there again one of these days. May have to take a stroll to the top of that hill !!

That was one of the few calls the refs got right when dealing with red wing goals...all thru the playoffs... there is no question that it was a goal!!

Used to fish around Park Falls with my dad a few times a year up until about a few years ago. Butternut Lake and the Pixley Flowage and a few lakes in Ashland county. Have only been able to afford one fishing trip a year way up there recently and ive spent those in Vilas county. Was planning on going back around Park Falls this year...not sure if im going to make it though.
