What would be sick would be if it had the crank, cam and chain out of a inline 6 or 4. Somehow connect the crank to a electric motor that spins the "cam" which now has become a rotisserie for smoking a small pig, turkey, duck, and so on. I might just try and make one of these one day.

I just got down to my parents house in Charlotte. I will be spending my last days here with them. As I was unpacking everything I got to thinking about snacks on the trip, go figure fat guy thinking about snacks. Anyhow, I looked in the meat freezer and realized I had 6 back straps that I can not take with me and keep frozen. So tonight they are getting cut up and made into jerky!!! I bet more people will want to meet up now:D

F350 or 250, (the one in the air) Throw in reverse and hammer down. As of right now, it looks like it is just holding on by the Tie Rod, which appears to not be bent. You might loose it as well as the bumper coming off backwards, but other than that, dont see to much damage to it as it sits. The F150, um....might need a new windshield:confused:

PM sent....Thanks for the offer, I hope I dont have to talk to you:D

Let me first start out by saying thanks..... Thanks to GWSmith for starting the Hot Seat thread this week. For the past 5 days I have been back in my college town visiting all my friends for the last time for a while and have just got back online. Thanks buddy, looks like its going great, I have a ton of reading/catching up to do. Also, thanks to everyone on this forum that has kept me in their thoughts and prayers. I just received final word as of 11:40am that everything had cleared and they are setting up my office this week for my first day of work on the 18th. So that means it final and I am driving out west. My Journey: May 10th- Leave Charlotte North Carolina around 7am traveling to Knoxville TN and then north to Shoals Indiana. Spending the night there. May 11th- Leave Shoals Indiana and head to Kansas City. I have an uncle there who is letting me stay with him for the night. May 12th- Head north on the border of Iowa and once reaching South Dakota turn left and head to Rapid City for the night. This stretch is going to be the longest and hardest to do, but I am up for it. May 13th- Head out of Rapid City to Wapiti WY then towards Helena MT for the night. May 14th- Going through Missoula MT to try and fish for a while during the day then heading to Spokane Washington. I have a free place to stay there for Thursday night and get a good night of sleep. May 15th- I will be making the last 2.5 hours of my trip from Spokane to Richland Washington. May 18th- First day of work!!!! Once in Richland I have a place to stay for a couple of weeks til I get settled in. I will be looking for my own place as soon as possible. The link attached is the trip on Mapquest. Yall can see my trip and see if I am passing by anybody. I will be looking for meal dates pretty much everyday, for lunch and dinner. Not really a breakfast eater unless its the only time for someone to meet up. Hopefully this week I will be able to put my hands on a Camera so I can take plenty of pics on the way and also keep this post updated on my travels each night. ( If I have a place with free internet) http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Charlotte&1s=NC&2c=Shoals+&2s=IN#a/maps/l:::Charlotte:NC::US:35.226898:-80.8433:city:Mecklenburg+County:1/l:::Shoals:IN::US:38.666401:-86.7911:city:Martin+County:1/l:::Kansas+City:KS::US:39.114201:-94.627197:city:Wyandotte+County:1/l:::Rapid+City:SD::US:44.080601:-103.230598:city:Pennington+County:1/l:::Wapiti:WY::US:44.468601:-109.436897:city:Park+County:1/l:::Helena:MT::US:46.5928:-112.035301:city:Lewis+and+Clark+County:1/l:::Missoula:MT::US:46.8722:-113.993103:city:Missoula+County:1/l:::Spokane:WA::US:47.658901:-117.425003:city:Spokane+County:1/l:::Richland:WA::US:46.285801:-119.283302:city:Benton+County:1/m::2:41.368158:-100.078123:0:::::/io:1:::::f:EN:M:/e Anyhow, this is just a quick update of everything that is going on with me. I will try and keep this post updated as things come up that I feel are important to post. I am looking forward to this in a HUGE kind of way. Yes I am really nervous but I know I need a very big change in my life and I believe I cant get to much bigger than this. -Ben

A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner. 'Good morning,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners. ' 'Go away!' said the old lady. ''I'm broke and haven't got any money!'' and she proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. ''Don't be too hasty!'' he said. ''Not until you have at least seen my demonstration.'' And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet. ''Now, if this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder.'' The old lady stepped back and said, ''Well let me get you a fork, 'cause they cut off my electricity this morning."

I would recommend this DVD to anybody in the hunting world. I ordered my copy of it from the Rutjunkie site the day it came out. Its not your typical hunting video and that is not a bad thing!!! There are sections of the video that have a story line which makes it awesome. I would explain more but dont want to give away anything in the video. I will say its got one sick wolf encounter that will make your heart beat just watching it. Anyhow, you guys here at RT should pick this DVD up. And I am in no way affilated(sp) with rutjunkie, HAHA, I just honestly like this video enough to post some good stuff about it. Goodluck with the sales guys and I am looking forward to the next DVD. I will keep my eyes on the forum over there as well. -Ben

any new stories from this week??? -
sounds like its not a matter of going to church or not but a matter of finding the right church that fits you the best. With everything going on in your life right now Jeremy that you read a book. This book has heled me through a lot and its a very easy read. I would send it to you but I have it loaned out right now and dont know if I will get it back before the move. Ask your parents to take you to a book store and pick it up. The title is Traveling Light written by Max Lucado. It is an amazing book and will make you look at things a whole different way and realize that your thoughts and pains in your life and a learning block. Please figure out a way to get to the bookstore to pick this book up, you will not regret it. http://www.booksofthebible.com/p4403.html

on the way. You know everything I have told you and run with that. Things sucks but things could also be very worse. Take the time to go to a homeless shelter if you can. I have had to do this before in my life and it will make any problems that you might be having seem so small. Also dont hold anything in. You know there are people here at RT that are willing to talk and help in anyway they can if you cant find someone close to you near your hometown to talk to.

I know this is not the correct thing or way to go about doing something, but here in NC the codes sometimes screw you over and end up costing you more money in the end and with this economy spending money on certain things is tough. I believe that it is better to do what you need done and ask forgiveness than try and explain your situation and ask for permission. Now dont get me wrong, I am not a law breaking citizen but if there is something I can to better a situation to help with great financial cost coming to me if something is not done right now, but codes do not allow it, well I am going to do it for the time being. Anyhow, I can not help with a solution to your problem but it kind of sounds like from your story your excess water on your yard/hill is causing erosion and a possible small land slide. Am I assuming right? If that is the case and you are not doing anything about it because of codes, then that could cost you big time. This would be a situation where I would have to do something even if its not within "code spec" and ask for forgiveness if someone says anything than try to ask permission and get the run around while your problem gets worse.

on the way Luke, goodluck with all and know you are in my thoughts and prayers

look great!!! Once you have it placed in the room in the house, I would rig up some sort of light that shines on the rack but not light the room too much. So when you have the lights off in the room you could see the lights underneath really well and have the mount light up as well. Nice work!!!

Got my license the day I turned 16. Since I was 14 dad told me either I could have whatever I wanted if I paid for 60% of it or I could drive whatever he bought for me for free. So, I started saving every little bit of money I could. The two years of saving, I saved up just under 3000 bucks and 3 weeks before I got my license I bought a 1992 jeep cherokee. Since i had the thing three weeks before I could even drive I started taking it apart and had a lift on it and cut the fenders big time to clear the tires I wanted. Dad thought I was insane but since I paid for 75% of it, he let me do whatever I wanted too. Looking back on it now, I wish I would have not spent the money to do the first lift and tires and the little random stuff becuase once I became more knowledgeable in the field of building rock crawlers, I took all the stuff off, cut the thing in half, cut the top off and stated building it the way I really wanted it. It was a great learning experience. As of 2 months ago I still had the thing, but took it all apart and sold it. I regret that everyday but, but I will build something new very soon, and I cant wait. The jeep was the go slow and crawl stuff, this next build will be something to go fast and jump with, think trophy truck style. Congrats on getting the license!!!

good, Just so you know I have never used the site and have no idea what the deal is. So if something happens dont hold me to it, but if you do get your money back my service fee for providing the website is only 10% of your missing money:cool:

not this one. I have a cousin that has been disowned by the family who has plenty of warrants and is running outside of the country. Last we heard of him he was on some island in the carribean and that was three years ago, have not heard from him since. But his name was not on it, so I think its good. Also have some a couple of other forum members on a different forum apply for the money that was told they had by this site, and they were directed to the correct State treasurer and received a check in the mail Hopefully they won't catch pops:D
