  1. what size converter are you going to purchase and also are you going to have the batteries being able to be charged off an alternator on the motor?
  2. I totally agree with you about everything you have said with slower speeds under the 170 mark. I feel that the cars are built fantastically, and the things that will fail in a deadly manor will not be the cars, but the fences, just as you have stated.
  3. I understand that by going faster the force, velocity, impact is greater but honestly, what parts are going to fail at 220 that arent going to fail at 190? rather those parts are, tires, metal tube, skins, the fencing, the stickers peeling off and so on?
  4. is the amount of damage and debris going to be that much different from a wreck at 190 and 220??? I believe if anything is needed it is a better style of fence or polycarbonate style "catch". Just my opinion so take it as a grain of salt.
  5. dang, I totally missed this thread. Happy birthday guys, and happy birthday to you to chris:D
  6. awesome show for sure!!! the run to the line was great but the hop at the end on the finish line was priceless, funny stuff right there.

  10. Trying to get all my ducks in a row for the trip to Washington, and realized that I am going to be driving 9-11 hour days as I go. I have a pretty good feeling by day one all my CDs will be getting pretty old and figured I could get some Books on CD to listen to and pass the time. Anybody have any recommendations or CDs that I could borrow and mail back once I get out there??? I will need something to keep my interest so no love chickflick type stories, needs to have action, drama, and or suspense.
  11. Picture stories are the best. Sounds and looks like you had a great time. BTW the cow in the road pic is awesome!
  12. well just let me know if you find something. If you could find your place on google earth that would work too. I am just curious about how and where you are setting up and could maybe gove some pointers if I could see it.

  14. how long does it take the mold to set and the paint to dry before we get pics???
  15. Yeah I would say its a little late to use a decoy for a Mating set-up, but using a decoy for a challenge set up could work very well. I feel like I am doing this hunting with you, haha. I wish I was there to experience in the fun you are having. I know it sucks not getting anything but half of the fun is figuring them out. I look on here everyday for a "I finally got one" thread. It will come eventually, as long as you stick to it. Do you have an arieal pic of the place you are hunting? Or a couplf of pics from an overlook area showing what the layout is?

  19. are you trying new sets and new calls? If not switch it up. Also if nothing else during the mid days try a spot and stalk if you have the land to move around on. They typically sleep or bed down during the day. If its a cold day they will lay in the sun if hot they will seek shade. Cold days, i have seen them laying on top of hay bales and small hills in fields. When its warm, walk the fields looking down in the bottoms, laying under rocks, logs, or moist creek areas. Also see if you can find a den, pups should be coming along now and venturing out into the open, and if you can find them you will for sure find grown yotes. Just keep trying new and different things. You will find something that works and start killing them.
  20. Awesome #2!!! I was excited for you when I got that text message right after your physical and I am still excited now that you have posted this thread. Congrats and I look forward for the future for you!!!!
  21. Looks great. The "adding soy sauce pic" is awesome, took me a minutre to figure out what was on the stove by the white tub but its the soy suace coming out of the bottle, pretty cool that the bride(I'm assuming) got that. Also is that Tony's greek seasoning I see on the left hand side of the stove? If so you are a very smart man. I mix that stuff in with all my dry rubs. It is phenomenal.
  22. is the new trend not to wear a tux??? Thats awesome for your boy, I remember those days and had a ton of fun. I went to prom all four years of school. But you could only go to Prom or invite someone to go with you were a Junior or Senior, So freshmen and Sophmores could only go if they had a date that was a junior or Senior. Those days were tons of fun, hopefully he had a great time.
