i have no idea, but I did learn from a monkey once that if you peel them from the botton instead of the top you will not have those annoying stringy things left on it.
  2. man that thing is beautiful, goodluck with it next season. I would hang that sucker above the fireplace.
  3. snakes are awesome!!! I try and catch everyone I see. My room mate in College had 3 pythons, 7', 9' and 11" now those are kind of intimidating. I was only bit once, that kind hurt but once i released the full grown rabbit that I had in my hand he released my hand and had dinner.
  4. A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object. It occupies all of the space behind an opaque object with light in front of it. The cross section of a shadow is a two-dimensional silhouette, or reverse projection of the object blocking the light. Tell your boy that and leave him speechless in return:D
  5. The method is pretty much the same. Set up in an open field with wood line 200 yards in front of you. Call the same as you would during the day and start listening. Most of the time I have been able to hear them coming in at night. Also on clear nights you can see pretty good by the moonlight. I have a scope mount light that reaches up to 300 yards and has a red lens. The red does not seem to bother them and once you find one in the light keep the light on them the whole time til you shoot. If you turn it on and off they spook. Check out basspro shops under varmint hunting and you will see the light I am talking about. Sometimes I will take someone with me and let them use a huge spotlight that I have put a red lens in. Its 20 times more intense at night, sometimes can be scarey:D
  6. its all the dirt that he doesnt brag about that we want to know;)
  7. yeah, sounds about right about coming out just at dark. You should look into your local laws and see if you can hunt them at night with a spotlight. The hunting is 20 times easier at night for them. 75% of my success has been at night with spot lights.
  8. thank you Kat, actually you should have posted them a link to their PM box

  18. I dont know anything about the cabin. Yesterday was the first day that I have seen it. We do have some poisonous snakes here, like rattlers and the eastern coral snake. I have never encountered one while rooting around old structures like the cabin, but have encountered them while walking in the woods and crossing dirt roads. I will try and find my pics of me catching some rattle snakes. The inside of the cabin was crazy and kinda freaky. I did not take any pics but I will be going back this week and will try and get some inside pics.
  19. I dont know, never used a coyote decoy before but have seen Randy Anderson use them and they worked amazingly.
