whelp if this was only 4 weeks earlier I would have been there. The bass pro in Charlotte is about 20 minutes from my folks house and where I grew up. I would recommend on your way back up going 85 north instead of 77 to Winston and stopping by Gander Mountain then cutting left(west) on 421 back to 77, its about 45 minutes out of your way but its two birds with one stone on your trip, just a thought. Sorry I am not there anymore to meet you two weird people:)

hunt or be hunted

what is your preferred method of hunting on each game that you hunt? ex: treestand for whitetail..... Do you do any waterfowl hunting? Ever hunted in the South East? South America hunting, game of choice you would like to hunt there? Worst pain you have been in? (not emotionally, physically) If there was one thing you could teach a kid that was not hunting related what would it be? Besides hunting, what will you be know for once your time is up? Favorite boot? Favorite store non hunting related? What kind of tires do you have?

I took the camera to work today to take some pics of the new office to show yall. A little different from the shop setting I worked in the last 5 years, but it pays 4 times the amount and I am having a lot of fun.... this is where all my bad ideas go, as you can see the lady just came for the third time today because it was overflowing.... Got home and realized I needed to go for a drive and clear my head so I took the cam with me and got a couple of pics.... as you can tell, the sunsets here are pretty amazing and I love taking pics of it often. Yall are most likely getting sick of seeing the dang sun go down, haha.

Leo, prayers are on the way from WA, not quite as close as SC anymore but they will travel fast to be with you and your family. I lost my Grandmother to the disease and it was almost a relief once she passed. The last two years were horrible and broke me down to the core. Prayers be with you........

In 12 hours you had to move, and take nothing but the clothes on your back. Once you get to where your going you can decide how to live, if that means get a job, live in the wild, what have you. It has to be over 1000 miles from you are are now. Where would it be? Same question but you could take your family with you, where would it be?

Just drove through there two weeks ago. I saw tons of ducks everywhere going through SD as well as plenty of dead pheasants, never saw a live one, and skunks. Good luck with everything.

With this whole new job and everything and being on the west coast the earliest I could post would be 5 oclcok my time which would be pretty late in the evening for everyone else. Come June 12th when I finally get in my new apartment and settled more I will be able to be on more so until then, could someone on the east coast start the post? I do want to apologize for being slack on the hotseat. I know I pretty much started it, its just been slightly crazy lately for me as some could imagine. Anybody want to volunteer to start them? Dang, that stinks about the license but oh well, I guess I will just buy an out of state Fishing License for now and then wait til September 12th to buy hunting, unless seasons start before that. I have not looked at reg books yet, but will be shortly. My apartment backs up to the Yakima, which I hear you can fish in but they dont suggest eating the fish in it. Also the Columbia is about a half mile from my apartment. Also is pretty much runs right through downtown Richland so I will be fishing it a lot. These birds have no idea that the lady I am staying with is saving their lifes. If I was at this location living by myself, my freezer would already be full. While I was standing in the driveway taking pictures of him, the 22-250 was banging on the door and windows trying to get out, but I figured since it was 6:05 in the morning the neighbors here would not have liked that too much. 10-4, move in date is the 12th, so I hope to be in and settled on the 13th. Will let you know:)

There are tons of doves. Is dove hunting big out here? I have not heard to much talk of dove huning here like I have heard quail and pheasant. Dove hunting is huge where I am from and I would love to be able to continue to do it out here if I can find some place to hunt. Where in relation to Richland do you fish? Once I move into my apartment on the 12th and I going to go and get my washington driver's license and then get my hunting and fishing license. I have seen a couple of people fishing out on the Columbia this week and cant wait to get out and try. I will have to bank fish for now, since I could not bring my boat out with me : (

Week #2 is done. The hours I am working are awesome. Every other friday I have off, so thats nice. Last weekend I signed on an apartment so on June 12th I will be moving in there. Here are some pics of the backyard where I am staying til I move into the Apartment. Wildlife everywhere......

Amazing....thats all I can say. I started my new job on Monday the 18th. The first week went really well. This weekend has been insane. I went and signed a lease on an apartment that I move into June 12th. Since all I had to move across the country with was my toyota I did not bring any furniture. Today I went out and bought a bedroom set, couch, recliner, tv stand, end table, and everything I need for my kitchen. 3000 bucks later I have everything I need including a mattress and box spring. I am set for my move in date. This coming firday I am going to try and get my washington drivers license and then a hunting and fishing license. The place I am staying at has very spotty internet so I drove to a hotel paaking lot to check in and post whats going on. So far this city is pretty cool. I have met some decent people and the chick that works ar the apartment place was awesome, and hopefully will be hanging out with her sometime this week. Anyhow, hope everyone is well and I will try and get back on soon. I know as soon as I get my apartment I will be back a lot more. I have just been so insanely busy that when I get home from work there is no much to do and then bedtime. Hope everyone is well and will talk to yall soon. Thanks for all the great words. I am kinda nervous about tomorrow but think everything will go just fine. I will let yall know what goes on. I spent all weekend driving around and looking for apartments, so hopefully in the next two weeks I will be able to get out of my friends parents house and find my own place. OJR- how far from Richland are you? We will have to plan something in the near future.

Thanks buckee, Monday is coming quick, hopefully I will be able to catch up on some sleep tomorrow and Sunday and be ready for my first day of work Monday.
