a HUGE tease for you guys.... a new Benelli for me!!!!! Super Black Eagle 2 is sitting beside me on the couch right now! I left my camera at work :hammer1: so you will have to wait til tomorrow for pics. I was going to wait on a thread tomorrow but I could not hold back. I have been saving change and going in the stores to look at this gun for 2 years. I was going to get it last month but I decided that waterfowl season didnt start right then, and I wanted to donate what I could to the dream and wish charity so I took some funds out of the big boy toy fund and saved a little more over the past month. Man I am excited, going to the range this weekend to break her in. I know, this thread is useless without pics, but they will happen tomorrow!!!!!

Oh, I had you and Leo's location flipped flopped, he is down south of Gtown. Anyhow, I will be flying into Charlotte Tuesday morning before Xmas and then going to Gtown on Wednesday and should be getting back to Charlotte on Sunday to spend a couple of days at the folks house. We will figure something out once I know my scheldule. Hopefully it will work out, I am looking forward to it.

Heck I might even go down and hunt the Santee one morning. That would be pretty close to you, right?

Sounds good, Hopefully if all works out I will be in Georgetown Dec 23 which is a Wednesday to Sunday. Hopefully we will be able to meet up sometime. I will be hunting every morning I am down there, but in our wood duck honey holes, we will only be hunting for the first 45 seconds of shooting light then cleaning birds the rest of the morning. Then hopefully in a deer stand in the afternoon is I can find one. Once it gets closer and I figure out my scheldule I will let you know. Maybe we can meet half way somewhere on 17 for brunch. Would be awesome to meet up with you!

Yep, he popped out of his break away cockpit within 10 seconds and was standing on the bottom of the boat before any rescue people made it to him. It could have gone a lot worse, but glad it didnt!!!

Nope, no plane went down. The only thing that crashed all weekend that I have video of is one of the race boats. I got the video on him when he was coming down from his double back flip!!!!

A week late getting this adverture up. This time the adventure came to me! We had our annual boat races on the river in town. A bunch of new buddys came and picked me up at 8am and we headed to the river. Got there and there were already tons of people but nobody was sitting right at the edge of the river so we took our chairs to the waters edge. All in all it was a good weekend. I love the sound and sights of speed and the river was full of both this weekend. Here are some pics and a few videos of the events. There was one HUGE crash that I got on video but some of the crowd around me let a slight dirty word slip out that was caught on video, so no posting it. If you want to see it, let me know and I can point you in the right direction on my photobucket. Its pretty insane. Anyhow, enjoy the pics of another weekend full of Adventure in Washington. Yeah, I am good now, just needed some sleep. Its not that I have not met people out here. I have actually met a ton of guys and ladies and people from here are calling me everyday to go do something. So its not the lack of new friends. I also have a local Ranch and Home store that has an indoor range where I go 3 times a week to shoot the bow. Have met a couple of guys from there but when you talk about hunting they shy away. Dont think they like a new kid, and a southern one at that, coming into town that hunts. Its very odd how they avoid conversations that will reveal what, when and how they hunt. I just miss my small town in Boone NC and being able to jump in the truck to go see the folks that were two hours away or go to the hunt club for a day just to get in to some known woods. But anyhow, thanks for the thoughts, this will all work out and yes I am lucky to have a job and my problems as of now are not financially. luckily I upgraded my cell phone plan to nationwide so I still have a NC number and calls home are local, so they all get phone calls throughout the week and incoming calls come in often. It just sucks not being on the farm sitting around the bon fire with my greatest friends and being able to hug mom and play with my dog that I had to leave at home because there was no room in the truck coming across the country.

This is WAY out of character for me but I figured why the heck not post something about it. I do not expect to gain anything from this but to show you what I am feeling right now. I am home sick big time. I miss my family and I miss my friends and I feel like I am across the country all alone right now. I have written this thread 5 times tonight and deleted it but whatever, I will hit the sumit new thread button on this one. I just have so many thoughts and feelings going through my head and I feel like I have no one here to talk with and express emotions and feelings with. Everything is going great here and I love my job but one thing I have always told myself is that I WILL have a life outside of work. These people out here, well everyone else besides Orlan and his Wife, are wierd and just are different than what I am accustom too. Not saying that in a bad way, just saying it as something I am not used to. For some reason this weekend is making miss being home with my family and my friends that I have spent so many years building relationships with. I feel like I have left them out to dry and broken their hearts by "leaving" them. Anyhow, I miss home and friends and just dont know if I am making the right decision. This was a huge change and random, but thats me, thats what I like and do, change and randomness. I just miss things and its all coming down on me tonight. Anyhow, hug your friends and family for me because right now I would give anything to do that........ .....trust in yourself and nothing else matters.......
