  1. Dont touch the clip part. Just pull the hose clamp off with pliers. Pull rubber hose off clip and replace plier style clamp with metal screw in, or better yet, look at the other end of the hose. heck, cut the hose in the middle and get a male male adaptor to put back together if you really dont want to touch any of the clips. It doesnt matter how you do it, just force water in one hose and see what comes out of the other. Also, you should be able to break the rest of the plastic clip off leaving just a metal line with a flair in it sticking out, slide hose over and clamp using a hose clamp.
  2. I never keep factory hose clamps on hoses. Every single one that I touch comes off one way or another and goes back on with a metal screw style. Break them off and replace with something better.
  3. That right there is about 7 minutes of work. Two hose clamps, turn water on, hold hose to a heater core hose, stand there, rest belly on fender. turn hose off, tighten two hose clamps, fill radiator with anitfreeze, done.
  4. wouldn't the line go this way / instead of this way _ ?
  5. It's been a long time since I actually laughed out loud by myself, thanks Corey. I can just hear you saying that with that monkey look on your face.
  6. Thanks dude. Hope you have a dang good Christmas! I have yet to book my flight there yet, but when I do and you pick me up from the airport, your gift will arrive.
  7. Thanks everyone. Hope the holidays are great for everyone. It's South Carolina. I doubt that will happen. I am so looking forward to Christmas morning and him opening it. Be on the look out in the mail. My letter went out Monday so hopefully late this week it will get there. If it doesn't, let me know. Thanks again!
  8. Congrats on the kills! How are you getting the teal mounted?
  9. It's finally that time of year that I get to go back 'home' for two weeks. Packing tonight and fly out first thing Friday morning. I can not wait to get back and see the family as well as get in my deer stand for the first time this year. I seriously doubt I will see anything but it will be nice to be in a tree. I miss my treestand, heck I miss trees. Not too many of them around these parts. Also, plan to hit the woody hole some so hopefully that will produce. i am pumped up and cant wait for a break from work. Merry Christmas to all. I will be around for one more day, then i'm outta here! latter man
  10. I doubt it, check your antifreeze level, if its low add some. If its full, pull into driveway, detach the two rubber hoses going into the fire wall, spray water hose in one and stand away from the second one as water will shoot out. See if any nastyness comes out of there. If it does keep flushing till its clear, reinstall, turn on vehicle, add more antifreeeze.
  11. If you have friends and you dont or have never made fun of them sitting around a camp fire hanging out, then they really aren't your friends. Not saying that anybody here is or isn't my friend, but I would have no problem saying anything I have said on these forums to the faces of any forum member. If he or anyone didnt have the education and was constantly called out, you would hope they would actually take the information given to them and learn from it. We learn new things every single day. The things that we learn and take in we use and do not discard them. If we did, no one would have any education and we would sit in a circle, not talking, scratching butt and then sleeping, wake up and do it all over.
  12. I cant wait for the threads in may - september about how hot it is and why are people seeing 100 degree days when they have never seen them before. I seem to remember quite a few of those post the past two summers. It will happen again.
  13. So, for 375sqft your total for materials was the above price? Dang, I might just have to wait a little bit longer to do 4 times that amount.
  14. How many square feet did you do and where did you purchase from? This is something I am wanting to do in my new house but I have about 1150 square feet (large living roon, kitchen, den, dining room and hallway) that run all together that I will have to do in one shot, which I am thinking is going to be really expensive.
  15. This is not a complete sentence, it should have read, "Wrong Jeramie, you used "they" instead of "the" in the last sentence."
  16. 18 out of 20 with the same tag as Tominator. Mark E Ting
  17. Yes, a loose gas cap can throw a check engine light on, on some vehicles. Instead of running to the dealership, I would go to a small town shop or a autoparts store. All of the ones around me and when I worked at the shop, would never charge to scan a vehicle real fast to see what codes are throwing the check engine light.
  18. guilty. But I have offered some very helpful advice that was shrugged off. edit: latter man

    Nasty GI bug...

It's a goverment conspiracy. Get the flu shot, get all kinds of weird sickness, buy meds, take time off work to allow someone else to work so they can tax two people for that time slot, have them sit at home and buy 'sick food' like soup, use more water than normal for a little longer baths and to wet washclothes for your head. Dont get the flu shot and dont get sick. Weird.
