I am posting this for my father. 1220+ acres in Fairfield county. From South Charlotte it takes 1hour and 10 minutes to get the the gate of the property. 30 minutes north of Columbia, 15 minutes outside of Winnsboro. The club has 11 members in the club now and are wanting to get to 13-15 members too keep the price down. A couple of members are getting out this year due to loosing of their jobs. The property is mixed with hardwood river bottoms, mature pine woods, thined pined sections and 7 year old cut-overs. There have been food plots planted all over the property for at least 9 years. (when we joined). Mixed stands from boxes to ladders and ground blinds. More than welcome to place any personal stands you have and use a climber where ever you would like to climb. There is a 'hunt camp' area where members have brought down campers and built roofs to stay in. My father is not too forum sauve but he has his email down and will be checking it everyday. Anyhow, here are some pictures from my treestand this Christmas and last when I traveled back home to see the family. Deer, Turkey, Bobcat, coyotes and wood ducks after deer season is over til the end of January. Plus small game when deer season is not in. This is a year lease and you are more than welcome to come down any time throughout the year to use the property, bring the family and kids for a camping weekend or a guys get away. nah, I actually thought it did use oil since The Bug house has a wood stove that looks exactly like yours and he used 75 gallons of oil in his last year.

I would put oil in it. It goes in the oil fill hole.

I believe your stove uses oil, the reason you might not be getting heat is because its out or low on oil.

Tell them I can do part time at home work to save cost and we could trade out work for hunts. That will work out just fine!

I would assume this was told to you by an 'old timer'. This practice took place heavily back before the modern diesels and ATF. 'Back then' (Which I am not sure of dates) it was done on a regular basis and did clean and lube the injectors as well as the pump. The ATF was 100% oil at that time and would burn at a higher temp than the fuel, this has all changed and it is NOT A GOOD IDEA to run ATF in the fuel of modern Diesels.

Not sure of my weight right now, waiting till Monday morning to weigh again. I just had a huge southern style breakfast after duck hunting, but other than that this week has been loaded with protein and lettuce/salads. Feeling dang good.

Paying up early pays off in the taxidermy business. He put me ahead of 35 birds because I paid him in full the day I took the bird in. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102739 He is starting on my mallard this week and will hopefully have him done in a month or so. This wood duck turned out exactly how I wanted it. Could not have asked for more....
