    Vegas....again

Attention Kyle, Corey and Mike. Kyle, you are a dentist living in Southern California. Your adopted daughter is your world. You won 12 grand and plan on coming back to Vegas in 4 months. Corey, you are a pilot from North Dakota that does bull riding on the side. You don't gamble but win all your Vegas money on riding mechanical bulls at the bars. You made a couple grand in one night and are planning to come back to Vegas in 2 months. Mike, you are an animal shelter volunteer that takes up 55 hours of your time a week. You are able to afford to volunteer instead of work for a living because you used to take care of the old ladies at the old folks home. Three of your ladies died last year (shed a tear here) and they put you in their will which provided you with a couple million bucks. You plan to return to Vegas when the construction of your new age animal shelter in Dallas is complete in 3 months. Good luck guys!

For the record, I was no where in my responses going against Kirk's character. He's straight up and - believe everything he says. I was only questioning the story told to him. Keep us posted on this. Also, its 240 or so Vegas time and I am just sitting down at a black jack table, sorry for the grammar problems. Kirk, nowhere was I questioning your character so please don't think that.
  3. I have no desire to spend even more of my hard earned money on taxes when the prisons are over run with people who are thrown in jail because of pot. Its hard enough making ends meet now and with stiffer penalties and more jail time our taxes will increase. Screw that. I am all for public stonings. I wouldn't mind it if the rich people paid to house more inmates. Edit: typing on a blackberry while flying in a plain sucks. Sorry for an grammar errors, I know they annoy me. I apologize if I have any, but I am not proof reading.
  4. Everyday I wake up and try and think of ways to make a positive out of a negative. I do not agree with drugs or drug use and I never will. Have seen it do horrible things to friends and family members but there is no way anything we do as an enforcement will make it go away. No one is going to change parents. I am sure your kids will do something in their lives that you as a parent had no control over and told them to do the opposite. I know my parents were the best parents ever, only guided me in the right direction, yet I still did things that they did not approve of. There really is no answer to drugs and eliminating them. They will always be a problem. I only say legalize pot, nothing else.
  5. Nothing done with drugs will fix its problmes. No matter what, it will be out there and will be used. Why not tax it and make money on it? Legalizing it will not increase the death rate of people on the roads.

    Vegas....again

Well, after two canceled flights this morning because of snow and fog I have finally made it to salt lke city around lunch time. Found some lady walking alone and started chattin it up. Took her to lunch in the airport and now am getting ready to board my flight to vegas. I am ready to get there but have had a decent day even with the flights this morning.
  7. He was held for an hour or two and let go with a 2000 bill. Not exactly hard for him to dig up and pay out. I don't do weed, never have never will. What you do in your own private time out of public is fine with me just don't preached to me about it or make me aware of it. I also say legalize it, tax the **** out of it and with the earned tax send every high school student with a GPA greater than a 3.0 to college on a full ride. The "drug war" on this stuff is the biggest waste of tax dollars ever. Nothing is changing and everyone who smoked before this drug war is smoking it now. Its also hopefully killing off a few stupid people, so smoke on. I am all for population control.

No need to be sorry dude. I know what it's like to get excited about something and want to share it without seeing pictures and believing someone's word. It's just hard for outsiders, that don't know that person, to hear a story like that and not have anything to back it up. Now, go find some pictures!
  10. I was joking. It's kinda hard to judge the age of a deer without seeing it. Heck, from your description it could be anywhere from a year old to 10 years old. Dont really know and dont really know how to guess.
  11. From the picture, she looks about 4.5 years old.

    Morning hunt

With all the ice and snow we are having and have, we had to get out and find a new spot. After two miles of walking with decoys on our back, we found this little spot. The fog was crazy but the birds worked nicely. I didnt take pics of all our kills but the bonus of the day was this woody! I have killed thousands of wood ducks in my lifetime in South Carolina but have yet to see any out here in Washington. This one decoyed in at 9:45 this morning and I tagged him with a single shot. He is now in the freezer and will be going to the taxidermist next week. Out of all the ones I have killed I have never mounted one, so being a west coast woody, this one is getting stuffed. They are HUGE out here. This thing is twice as big as our's back home. He is about the size of a resident Mallard. Also, the other pics are of our spread and the last is my mallard kills minus 6 that I got after the pic was taken. So far, it's been a good year.

  23. I based that response and opinions strictly on what you posted in this thread and nothing else. I support anyone, best friend or worst enemy in their life choices and dreams as long as they are prepared for them and give their 100% in everything they do. My post was not a call out on you as a person with everything you do in your life and dreams, I was simply responding off of the post that were made in this thread. Being a public service worker is a huge responsiblity and task to take on, if you want it, go get it and dont let anything stop you. Education is the one thing that will get you wherever you want to go in life. With the great people here at RealTree, this includes you Jeremy, I would have thought I would have seen more mature questions being asked. I want you to succeed in your dreams and goals. I have seen you grow up a lot in the past two years and I commend you for that. Take people's opinions as a learning experience not as a cut down to you as a person. If I did that with all the poo people have said to me on my opinions I would be in a mental insitute right now. Instead I actually listen to them (I may not show that online and here at RT just to stir the pot a little more and get people fired up) but I do take their opinons into consideration and look at their thoughts and decisions from their shoes and see if I would have said an opinion or choice differently. Anyhow, take it for what it's worth, like it or don't. This is just a HUGE step in growing up and learning what responsibilty is all about. You will have the life of another person in your hands if you do this and if you do continue with this dream I wish you the best. Only you can decide if this is for you. I just say learn everything you can and once you have everything that you think you need to know, learn more. One thing nobody can take away from you is your education. I think about that everyday with myself, live my life how I want to, take other's opinions as learning material, chase my dreams and take the world on. Good luck Jeremy.
  24. I'm not trying to be as big of a jerk as you are going to think I am. But I believe there are about 836 things you should be worried about and wanting to get educated on besides what lights you can run on your vehicle and if you can speed, run stop signs and lights. There are many educated people here that would be more than willing to answer any questions, but the questions you have asked seem to be the immature mentality of a teenager trying to find an adrenaline rush and not one wanting to be a mature man with the thoughts of saving lives and or property in his sights. I would suggest going to a firehouse and having a meeting with them, asking them questions, learning everything you can and once you have learned what you think is enough, take one more year to learn more and grow up some before getting out there in situations that take your life as well as others into your very own hands.
