  1. Wouldnt have thought he'd go that high either, but nonetheless a buck of a lifetime! Congratulations on a STUD!
  2. Amen to that! Congrats CC.
  3. All the news I saw out of WI last night was bad, bad, bad...... :angel2: Hope your deer news is better!
  4. Nice work Don! Shame about the 2-3's being broke, but still a lot of fun to hear that smack knowing your shot was true. Congratulations!
  5. Excellent work Steve! Wish you would have called the election right too lol.
  6. We are no doubt an entitlement nation. It's only going to get worse as the hispanic voting block is growing exponentially. God help us.
  7. I've never counted but I know it is less than I would like, but more than my wife likes. Somewhere between pope & young and divorce.
  8. Dang William the whole family is knocking them down! yesterday was one of those"magic"days that everywhere I looked I saw deer on the way home, about like the dems I saw at the polls they just came put of nowhere. Wish I could have been on the stand too. Congratulations bud!
  9. That pic has been viral lately and hurts me every time I see it. got to be a bad way to go no doubt.
  10. Eagles were re-established on Okatibee lake, about 30 miles north of me back in the 90's by G&F. I suspect that's where this one came from. The phone has an 8mp camera in it, takes great pics, just no zoom capability to speak of.
  11. Bad socket? No ground connection? I would start by checking if I had 12v at the connector.

    lighted nocks

I've shot tracers and lumenocks. I do not like the operation of the lumenocks. The tracers work great with the magnet operation they are foolproof. My buddy shoots the nokturnals and loves them. I am not shooting any lighted nock right now, but would buy the tracers or the nokturnals if I were to go back to them. Firenocks are just too much $ for me.
  13. I'm sorry, I'll eat about anything, but this sounds like a dog treat, lol.
  14. I see. Figured you'd have fermented a batch of that stuff Don for experimentation purposes. :wine:

    Deer Dogging

Why search and dig up a five year old thread I have no idea. Dog hunting legal in MS, but restricted to a couple of times during gun season. It is a lot of fun being on a good hunt, no doubt, but few of them down here do it responsibly and make attempts to catch their dogs at the property lines. They are surely becoming more and more in the minority each year, but still a large group overall. I have to deal with our neighbor's hounds every year a time or two at our lease, big PITA to catch a dog then have all that stink on you. I make one call to the owner, and he better come quickly.
  16. Way to go! Your season is going better than mine for sure! Congratulations!
  17. What a monster! I know that young man was beside himself. What a wonderful thing you did Steve, my hat is off to you!
  18. Just looked on my app. When your pic is up, hit your menu bottom for "view links" Img code is last, just touch it, and you can paste later.
  19. If you have a photobucket account, login with the app, select photo, choose link codes, then touch the img code and it will be chipped to the clip board. Paste the code into your post. Once you get the hang of it it's a breeze. We all had problems posting pics at one point in time, so feel free to ask as many questions as you want.
  20. You're seeing more than me! Have yet to see a mature buck from the stand, but with better and cooler weather hopefully they'll be on the move soon. Getting the kids out now and seeing lots of young bucks, but not much else. Sounds like you didn't spook him though, so maybe one of the two will be back next time.
  21. Nice bucks no doubt. Man that's a fat lazy coon right there!!!
  22. If you have a photobucket account use the app, makes posting easy.
