  1. That is one stud of a deer, congratulations!
  2. +1 You just post that crap to rub it in on us less fortunate folks.
  3. Not much I felt I had to have this year, but did get these cheesey video glasses: Camouflage Mini DV DVR SPY Sunglasses Camera Video Recorder 30fps 4032*3024 | eBay Rhine got a pair too. No video footage to post thus far though.
  4. One of my favorite bands I'd say. My tastes have changed over the years, but bands like that have moved up the preference list.
  5. Looks like beautiful country there.

  7. Lol, I forgot all about your coon supper Tom!
  8. Not bad, takes a long time to get tender. But it was after a few cold ones at the cap and we were hungry so anything would have been good lol. I've caught many and sold them. You can get 12-15 bucks for a clean one around here, doesn't sound like much, but trapping 8-10 a week add up. Haven't done that in several years.
  9. That's a stud right there! Good luck with him!

    Proud to say

That's great Cody! I'm still looking to adopt a little brother with a couple thousand acres in the delta!
  11. +1 Hope you have a long and happy life together.
  12. Was going to go but the heat is bad bad here today. Going to hit a little acorn flat here in town on private land in the morning and hope to smack anything legal.
  13. Finally a "trusted" forum member went to look at the head and supposedly verified there were no bullet holes. Now I think the deer has been confiscated by mdwfp, waiting on the scoop. The account of the hunt, and the he's wife/gf getting on there to defend him is funny as crap.
  14. but, thought I would share this epic thread brewing on one of our state forums! Just skim through after reading first couple pages, its hilarious! 163 inch 14 point - Archery and Bowhunting - Mississippi Hunting and Fishing Forums
  15. That's a pig Harv! Welcome back and congratulations!!!!!
  16. That's a stud right there 109! Congratulations!
  17. Hope it was a great one!

    Great post Corey. True dat.
  19. I love early bow season with a steady but light rain, nice and quiet for slipping around too.
  20. Really slow this year, hardly a buck worth posting. Would like to see this guy start showing up in this plot earlier with my bow in hand. Tons of water oaks dropping around, with my stand about 15 yards out in the woods. Need to thin these things out too.
  21. Welcome to the forums. Really should be in the archery room. No answer to that question without knowing what your setup is, what draw length, weight, etc. Different setups require different arrows and spines. Shooting a 29" 70lb bow, I have had good results with my Easton Axis 400 shafts. About $10 each.

That's about as good of a success rate as you could hope for bud. I hope you're back in a tree soon.
  23. Call me a dinosaur, but I have one TV in the house on dish, Starz and encore for around 70 a month. I'm thinking of dropping starz to get to about 50. The dvr works great to resolve conflicts, but honestly the only thing I just got to watch is a college football game or two in the fall weekends and everyone respects that. My girls have grown up without TV in their rooms and it's cool with them, they outside 90 percent of daylight hours anyway. Still a waste of money considering we all grew up with 3 channels and rabbit ears for nothing and did ok.
