  1. Welcome! Stick around, nice folks in here.
  2. Congratulations Chris! Wish ours could reach half that success!
  3. That is cool. I think I saw one about 6 years ago at the camp. Very high up, but wingspan way too big to be a buzzard, but would have loved to see him up close. The state has tried in a couple sights here to get them started, don't know how successful they have been. Would be very cool to see them from time to time.

I got a muddy for my birthday. Wanted the hss vest, but glad wife got me the muddy, easy to put on, light, but mostly it's way too hot early season for a vest.
  5. Been real slow for me too, need to get this monkey off my back lol.
  6. Allen is a China made brand that Wally world Carries. Some of their products are decent, some not so much. There's a price point for everyone, and that's toward the bottom.
  7. 12 more than I saw. Been skunked last couple times I went. Good luck Joe!
  8. Been very slow for me this year. Rut here is not until late December.
  9. Hard to tell at times. Temps around 40 you should be ok. A gut shot deer that lays overnight tends to "soak up" that gut smell just a little, and you'll think it's spoiled when it's not, or was the case with one I did like that one night. Cut deep into a ham give it a good sniff, and if in doubt, feed it to the dogs. It really depends on what the temps were when the deer died.
  10. Guess you had to be there on the humor side lol, but congrats on the clean bill of health Chris!
  11. Keep them coming Jeramie! Great reading here. This sounds like something I would love to do!

  16. Hahahahahaha!!!! Check into some Depends Jeramie, or change your chili recipe!
  17. Lots of them to list, but a crock pot is the best way to get all the meat off the neck, just give it a good rub with your favorite stuff, cook all night on low, get up in the morning and chop up some taters, onions, carrots and such, go hunting, come back and eat.\ Also good to cut up some steaks, dredge in flour and seasoning, fry hot and fast to get a good crust on them, then drop in the crock pot on low overnight with some water, cream of mushroom, onion, seasonings, cream of celery (or onion) and let it ride. Make biscuits in the morning, maybe some rice as well, and sop it up!!!!
  18. Killed in MS the other day. Scored 170
