I use DDW, or will also wash in cold water and baking soda, hanging out to dry is the best way by far. Have a short little clothes line at the camp, when I get back in, I'll hang my shirt/jacket/pants (or whatever outerwear depending on weather) on the little line to air out in the breeze.
Pine limbs and wax myrtles are my go-to trees around here for cover scent. Spray on some DDW or your fav cover scent also before getting in the woods. I don't like "scented" products, except maybe earth scent that smells just like dirt.
I think keeping scent down is largely a matter of common sense. Be mindful of what you eat/drink, don't sweat if possible, don't have that fruity scent crap hanging from your rear view mirror etc, lol.
