    Muzzy MX3

Take reviews with a grain of salt. I suspect half of them written both positive and negative are by folks with an economic interest in them. Any man that shoots a deer in the back leg and then whines about the lack of blood trail is a freakin idiot.

    Muzzy MX3

Always had good luck with muzzy, and that goes for the old style and mx-3 too.
  4. I wish you all the best Chris, your soon too, you are a fighter for sure.
  5. Nice potential there Rhine. Got lots of cats on our place.
  6. Not familiar with that one. Does it have a adjustable tension?
  7. Nah, just poked him with a stick to get it to say cheese.
  8. He was fast, took a minute to get him stopped
  9. Run up on this guy this afternoon.
  10. Hope it's a good one! .... ps... mods, why can't we edit the thread title! :hammer2:
  11. Hey Norm! Long time no see. Same old same old around here for me, getting ready for bow season albeit slowly. Looking for a new state record nanny to stick.
  12. A friend of mine is going to FMJ's. Think I'll keep on slinging my axis 400 shafts for now. About a third of them break when I shoot a deer, but they sure don't bend when I was shooting 2213s back in the day.
  13. What are you shooting now? Speed and setup? Speed isn't everything.
  14. Yeah, I think you said it best Don. I think of brush guns more in terms of being compact in size, not really so much in caliber.
  15. At a quick glance, these pink circles caught my eye. You should take all your other stands down and just hunt in these places.
  16. Wouldn't take anything for my old 94! No scope just open sights on it, looks like it's been out a few times too lol.
  17. I use DDW, or will also wash in cold water and baking soda, hanging out to dry is the best way by far. Have a short little clothes line at the camp, when I get back in, I'll hang my shirt/jacket/pants (or whatever outerwear depending on weather) on the little line to air out in the breeze. Pine limbs and wax myrtles are my go-to trees around here for cover scent. Spray on some DDW or your fav cover scent also before getting in the woods. I don't like "scented" products, except maybe earth scent that smells just like dirt. I think keeping scent down is largely a matter of common sense. Be mindful of what you eat/drink, don't sweat if possible, don't have that fruity scent crap hanging from your rear view mirror etc, lol.
  18. I'd go with a little acephate powder around the bottom of the tree. Slightly sweet odor, should dissipate after a good rain, and hopefully has killed the colony by that time.
  19. Too funny not to post, the pic is not too funny, watching them try to roam from side to side going down the road was hilarious!
  20. Pains me to see folks hurting like that. Meanwhile it's the wettest summer around here in years. I wish I could have sent a lot of these heavy rains north of us to you guys that need them so bad.
  21. Labs out for a ride through town. Pulled over at this gas station, and I had to snap a pic
  22. Let it go! Just let the grip push against the "V" of your hand. Once you learn to not torque it you will be glad you did.
  23. Can't say that I have Al, but thanks for clarifying. I thought John was talking about is imaginary friends again.... I have given up on them when they walked out on me a few years ago. One still owes me fifty bucks.
