  1. Yeah those little lights are perfect for tracking and only about 5 bucks.
  2. I could just hear Whitney's "I will always love you" as I read that Benji...... very moving.
  3. Welcome back Will, no apologies needed friend. Just tell us how to get dish free now. Glad to see you back.

Be no red and blue in my cave cuz! Maroon and white only!
  5. Very cool Anthony as always. I don't think I've ever seen you take your bow though or have you? I need to get an exotic hunt up sometime just to do something different. Got plenty of hogs around here, been plenty of times hearing them slap their tushes together making that clapping noise you talked about.
  6. Not considering resale (who'd want a camaro when you could get a Bughatti and sell it to by 100 of them) I'd have to go with a gen one camaro. I miss my old 68 Z28 even if it was a rust bucket. First body style I fell in love with as a kid. 69's are fine too, just like the 67-68 a little better. That being said, you can't beat modern performance either. Rode in my buddy's Z06 a month ago and all I can say is WOW! Hard to pass on the handling and braking as well as compared to the antiques. Local guy had one of these in camo, wish I could have snapped a pic of it - it's the ultimate in redneck transportation:
  7. Yeah that looks like he may have been sporting something decent. Funny how we'll get up and drive 50 miles to hunt when sometimes there's good hunting at home, but then again, my wife can't find me when I'm at the camp, got to go further than the back yard.

    A quiz!

Well we can hope for it anyway, I hope it will be my fav!
  9. Very nice! Just finished my kitchen remod (or putting the finishing touch on it). You do great work!

Joe you really did a nice job with that! Haven't thought about wainscoting, may be worth looking at. William I really hadn't considered siding like that either. Thought about maybe using vertical cedar planks with strips over the joints, but as Joe mentioned that can be hard to keep clean too.
  11. Maxed out at around 72 on my new Bear. My old one was set at 56lbs, and man am I missing that! This summer I have got to either get my arm built up more or back off the weight, my draw right now is just a little too cumbersome with the added pull, and I didn't get used to it as fast as I had hoped. I think 65 is probably where I need to be right now, but I really like the limbs bottomed when shooting 40+ yards.
  12. Good luck with it Mike. Last 2 Fred Bear bows I purchased were new ones that were being discontinued. Ended up with new bows at half the cost. Too much for me to spring that 700-800 bucks every 4-5 years or so.

Lewis that is a nice looking entry. I thought about maybe finding an old barn or shed I could get some lumber off of, still may go that route..... that is unless the wife that told me I could do what I wanted with the room suddenly crawfishes on me!

Some cedar chips will help you out, don't ask me how I know.

    Just home..

You could do some good fishing in the hotel, about big enough to bow hunt too! haha

    Just home..

Sounds like you had a good time. Haven't been there in a few years. Was it in the Opryland hotel?

Closing in about an extra 200 sqft on the house the wife says can be "mine". Would like to get something pretty rustic going on there to put all my stuff in. Thinking something ruff-cut, would love to get some old weathered pine, though it's getting hard to come by these days. Any suggestions on the interior walls and ceiling?
  19. Great news Chris, hope they continue to come back clean in the future. Can't imagine having that always in the background in your life, you gotta be a tuff one.
  20. Pages and pages about this hunting club and their anal ways on our state forums. Had to share this video one of the guys made about them. Been up a while, but I laugh every time I see it! Wish I knew how to edit like this.
  21. Thanks Ken. Gonna take a little while to finish my smokehouse, but I'll be digesting all this. I may have to give you a phone call when I get ready to go, you gave me your number once, I think I still have it. thanks as always bud. john
  22. There always is. Bet he wasnt just "installing software". Dont get me wrong, no excuse for a kid to diss their parents, but overbearing parenting can have negative results.
  23. Folks send me some of these kids rants in emails and it's sickening. I know some kids (my brother included) that were pure heathens despite good parenting, but most of it is their own making by giving them too much rope and not commanding their respect.
  24. Well it's fun to get to know some folks better. I don't do the one on bullnettler anymore, just too much work keeping up with all of it, just let me enter one deer and be done, lol.
  25. Saw this on another forum, pop putting an end to his daughter's FB ranting. There is some language in there, so be forewarned. The ending is the best.
