  1. Son of a pup....I got the C-183 instead! Dang-it!
  2. Just stunning......I don't even know what to say!!! Please share your tips for picking up chicks as a photographer, LOL!!!
  3. How do you get your subjects to sit so still! They look great Dakota. I hate to ask this of everyone that posts a pic here....but what camera are you shooting?
  4. Appreciate the comments guys. This is just a fun hobby for me I really enjoy, glad you like some of them!
  5. Got some samples or is it top secret stuff?:taped:
  6. This family group of deer has been visiting again daily to munch on that unknown tree in the pics. I managed to snap a couple shots I liked the past few days. I love the tounge shots, but just noticed that stupid reflector melting out of the snow bank along the driveway, lol. It sure doesn't give them much of a wildernessy feel. ...and a few waxwing shots. They are visiting in flocks and are picking these trees clean of their fruits in no time flat. A real fun bird to watch and they give you all sorts of interesting looks.
  7. Cool! I wish we had magpies but we do have the jays! Awesome job sneeking in for a shot on the yotes. I'm jealous!
  8. Yup, it will give you the silky water look. I've become a huge fan of that but you need to keep your cam steady to get the true effect without motion blurr of the surroundings you want to keep in focus. It's a prefference thing I guess. Sometimes there's just too much light for a longer exposure and you work with what ya got. Freezing a crashing wave with a faster shutter speed would work better IMO over doing the same to a slow trickling stream. I just appreciate the fact you stop to pay attention to something most folks see as an obstacle that just gets their boots wet!
  9. told ya so! Pretty facinating aren't they? Thanks for sharing and keep on clicking!:cool2: Can you slow that shutter speed on that cam or no?
  10. I'd like to see them ducks excited. Go get yourself a duck call Mike and make them do something. Some of the best footage and photos I've seen have been with an aware critter that makes eye contact.....but you have to find that comfort zone to wait them out or make it happen some way...somehow. You did a great job on the editing! That's a lot of work.
  11. Sure is hard not to stop and take notice of a good spring trickle after a long cold winter.:camera:Good to see your waterworks up annd running again. Refreshing!:soda:
  12. Lol- used to get service calls for that all the time. A lot of folks just get scared at the sound of their pump kicking on that often but sounds like you have plenty of recovery time yet. My best advice is to unplug it for about 2 min 15sec in this case and enjoy the additional silence. As the water rises over the sump pit, the noise of the pump running once you plug it back in will sound like heaven sent music from angels harp strings.:angel1:
  13. Yeah, yeah, yeah....enough of the musshy stuff ....hand over the keys daddy-o! Happy B-day Christina!:happybday:

    Life

Sorry to hear of your run of bad news. Hope things turn around for ya quick bud.
  15. Just a thought, but could be an aration problem be the issue. Maybe you need to incorperate more aquatic vegitation to your system to produce more oxygen to your fishes.
  16. Beautifull...hard to find a plan like that. I reckon our government will have put this to bed right quick as more folks catch on at the expence of 1'st class travelers with a destination of Uranis.:gun2: Then again..., it may secure others overall fear of heights.:alien:

You tell me...lol Never met her. No clue if she's got moles or frekkles. Don't mater none now. We all got the family vibe going on.:chat:
  18. Well, I'd certainly hoped I had some good news to report back on this set of boots but that's just not the case. Just over 2 months old, I'm quite dissapointed to say the least. Cosmeticly they have held up better than expected and I give them an B+ for durability showing minimal signs of wear from the outside. A few frays along the tounge seams and laces were expected, but the way the interiors disintegrated made boot removal a real chore when the heels disolved and suction cupped upon removal. The liners are shredded already and any comfort factor these suckers came with out of the box is all but gone. -F Roughly 2 weeks ago these boots became glorified sock covers which took on more water than the Titanic. Slowly but surely walking through even fluffy powder pack snow revealed some weak areas along the toe knuckles. Being an un-insulated boot....not good. One stitch connecting the boot sole to leather has popped and I'm afraid that's just the beginnning. -F Comfort wise......TERRIBLE but tollerable. If you can appreciate cold hard leather cutting into the sides of your ankles with every flex of a step these suckers are for you. As for the insole of these boots....LaCrosse went far and beyond to ensure they forgot to accomodate comfort levels for someone who was gonna wear these things on a daily basis. You will deffinately feel wherever the leather meets the canvas. BAD, Bad, bad! Two thumbs up for the dual escape hatch with the laces and side zippers. More than once I've had to use one system to overide the other. A very nice option. A+++ Traction and sole agresiveness...perfect for the wide open prairies and sidewalk walks. If the trail gets the least bit greasy, you'll do better to wear your shower shoes. Poor+ Seeing this is LaCrosses first attempt at a rugged, dependable footwear geared more towards Texas plains reptile protection than it is towards thwarting off NY wintery elements,... I have to give this boot an overall rating slightly higher than I would like to. -C Knowing what I know now, for the pricetag this pair of boots comes with is not worth the ticket price home. Between last night and this morning, I gave them a good spraying with some waterproofer to try and salvage any life that may be left in them but I doubt that bandaid is gonna be big enough to fix these things at this point:nurse:.

Hehehe, I'll do my best.:angel1: Here's where the story takes a strange twist after spending the day with long lost family. You all know of Larry The Cable Guy..... well, his sister is married to my 2'nd cousin. How the frig does that happen without my knowing???? Heck, I just found this out over another pointless conversation with my relatives I rarely talk to. Who woulda thunk it. I feel my luck is changing for the better these days, lol. I better get to shaking that family tree a little more to see what other kinda nuts fall out, lol.

Today I pulled a Kat and hit the casino. I put 5 bucks in the slots to start and it kept me busy for 2 hours while the dog was getting groomed, lol. At one point I had accumulated $13.80 but at the end of the day when I cashed out my winnings totaled $6.40 all won on penny slots. That's $1.40 more than I had invested when I walked in. Go big or go home....that's how I roll!:smoke:
  22. Good job Todd! I've never found a hanger before. Good luck with the others you've been keeping an eye on and DON'T FORGET THE CAMERA!!! By the time we melt out I'm gonna have two seasons of antlers out here waiting to be found. This winter just doesn't want to let go it seems. I might check the local golf course tomorrow just for kicks. Jeremy, get out there and check them sandbag crossings and storm sewer grates. Maybe drag the bottom of some puddles with a fish net while your at it. Hope something washes up for ya soon.
  23. Is there such a thing? I guess Tioga's not an option but have heard of some "less canny" hunts in PA.

    Boredom!

Should of hit the casino....double or nothing.:shifty:
  25. Your wife is an angel,lol.:angel1: 1'st pic looks like you got to go back into the locker room.:1eye: I think your boy is peeking. :happybday:
