  1. Wecome guys. I'm only a few months old myself.
  2. Around 20+years ago, I had set up a loc-on across the road from my buddy's house. We had permission to hunt but I was the only one that had any interest in Bowhunting. I had been watching all the hunting videos avalible back then. I was determined to become a better hunter. A couple months before I bought a used Suzuki King Quad 250. I was in heaven. I had rode my 4-wheeler to the edge of the field close to my set up and walked the rest of the way in to the stand. About 30 minutes before dark I heard some "clanging" and did not know what it was. After a minute, it dawned on me that it sounded like 2 bucks fighting just like on the videos. I got down out of my stand and eased up back to the field. I could see my 4 wheeler and more comotion was going on on the other side of it. I crawled up to it and could see the deer about 30 yards on the other side of it. I nocked an arrow and got to my knees but could not get a shot because the grass was to high. I slowly stood up to clearly see there was a 6 and a 8 point sparring and what not. I began to draw my bow and one of them spotted me. They bolted into the woods. I did not get one but I've been on fire for Bowhunting ever since!
  3. Nice Deer. Glad to hear something good about the Rage. (Especially since I just bought some)
  4. Is it like the Chippewa system? Haven't used loc ons in years but thought about the Chippewa system. Expensive but looks pretty awesome. I'm usually in climbers now and Summitt is the way to go there to me

    CRAP!!!!

Glad yo found the problem. You should be good to go now!
  6. Did right by backing out. Good luck tomorrow in finding it.
  7. Great info. Thanks for the tips. After the leaves have turned but before they have fallen, cut branches the right size to brush in your blind/stand. When all the leaves fall off the live branches, the leaves on the cut branches will not fall off and will give your spot more cover.
  8. Sounds to me like it is working properly. It shouldn't alarm any deer. Thermocell can be a livesaver down here.
  9. I would definitely try to find some acorns.
  10. 136 is my guess. Fine Buck.
  11. Congrats! Great Buck! Thanks for the story.
  12. I could not pass on either one!
  13. I'm really looking forward to going to Ohio for a week to bowhunt. Gonna try for a big one; a whole week of perfect. Looking forward to GA trying to win the SEC and cool weather.
  14. Thanks. I'm definitely gonna try 100 grains. I do want a little more accuracy.
  15. Great group at 200 yards. I shoot the same set up except 150 grains of 777. Do you find 100 grains grouping better? I am thinking about dropping down to 100 grains.
  16. Man. Now thats a monster. I hope you get him!
  17. I've never owned a Rhinehart but I have shot one. They definitely seem to last longer and be more durable. I've been told they are much better. Broadheads are gonna be tough on any them though.
  18. Great Buck. I hope he makes P&Y for you. I'd be proud!
  19. I'm due for a trip to Moronville myself...Here's your sign!
