We certainly have plenty of problems. Ending capitalism is not the answer. When we are ready to sacrifice our liberty for security, we deserve neither. (One of forefathers said that). Government is certainly necessary. When you look at our constitution, it was specifically designed to protect the citizens from tyranny. I saw now where Dan Rather is publicly suggesting that Obama do something about the media(Fox). It is becoming blatently clear that the Americans are becoming more informed and they don't like what they smell!
Cash for Clunkers! I'm a financial advisor and I have specifically seen people that should not be taking on a new car payment buy a car just because its a greatdeal. They drove an older car because that is what they could afford. Now many will be stretched to thin...but they have a new car. I do not have all the answers by any means, but is obvious to me neither does Washington.
I just wish we could start with common sense. The printing press will run out one day. I am afraid double digit inflation is on its way along with rising interest rates. My Daddy always told me "If your in a hole, the first thing you should fo is STOP DIGGIN'.
