  1. I think he might be a shooter! Holy Moly!
  2. Be weary of those who can move the masses when simple facts are contradictory. So many things that many conservatives have been saying have been comingto fruition. Many of the libs in my office have regreted their initial support of O. If it walks like a duck, etc. guess what! Its a duck! Czars with no checks and balance and ACORN. What are we thinking!
  3. I very strongly disagree with O and I am scared for our country, our rights and my daughters future. We must definitely pray for he and his adminstration and all the politicians for that matter. We must speak up and be active participants in our country in a respectful manner. WWJD
  4. Thats great! Do you seem to be giving up much as far as smoothness, noise, vibration etc. compared to the solocam? I shoot only one pin. If I could maintain the accuracy and gain that much speed, that would be great!
  5. Make the move. Limit the negatives as much as possible but go for it.
  6. Great Shot! Congrats! Great play by play to!
  7. Leap frogging like GW said is a great idea. I remember when I was in school many years ago. I was hunting an awesome acorn ridge loaded with sign. The first weeks of bow season I did not see anything. Well, I was hunting till about 9:30 in the morning. Well, I finally got to go on a Saturday (did not have to work) and planned on sitting on my stand til noon. No one else on the club would sit that long. All the deer were coming in after 10 AM. I killed 4 deer from that one stand with my bow during the last leek of Bow Season. Each kill happened between 10 and 1... Timing is everthing. Don't give up! Keep the hope! Someone already said it but being there is the most important thing. Hang time! Good Luck!
  8. Awesome speed and power. I'm shooting a Switchback. The fastest bow I ever had was a tricked out Browning Ballistic Mirage. I have had 2 Matthews since then and I am definitely a fan. What kind of Broadhead are you planning to put in front of all that power? I will probably upgrade in the next couple years. If I can get that kind of speed and still drive nails with it. I'm there! switchback
  9. Congrats! I'm gonna try the rage myself this year.
  10. "Be Prepared". It sounds like you are. Take the shot. The ethical question was answered when you put yourself and your equipment through practice and you achieved acceptable results to move on to a real hunting situation.
  11. Thank you. That was helpful. Its always good to get others ideas. Obviously, 'm willing to sacrifice some precision by wanting to stay with the pellets. I will just have to shoot 2 pellets and see if my groups will tighten. I do think that on the Luepold all I have to do is dial the scope to 2 pellets and it should be on. That will be interesting if that will happen. It will be a few weeks before I can shoot though. Thanks again.
  12. I also have the 308 barrell for my Encore. I like the Federal 165 grain boat tail. I have had great luck with it.
  13. Yes. I tested Federal, Winchester and Remington in my .270 and .308. Same basic results. 1 Federal 2 Winchester and 3rd was Remington. Good Luck
  14. Just got the Luepold ultimate slam and have sighted it in with 3 pellets of 777. I realize after the fact that I could may get better accuracy with loose powder. That being said. I would like to stick with the pellets. Any experience or opinions on 100 or 150 grains. Yes you guessed it. I want to be able to use the crosshairs on the scope. Do you think that dropping down to 100 grains would increase accuracy substantially? I'm getting 3 inch group at 100 yards with 3 pellets of 777. Thanks
  15. Encore, 250 grain shockwave, 150 grains (pellets) 777 and just bought a Luepold Ultimate Slam. Love the scope.
  16. Awesome cat. We don't get to many of them that big in this area. I got give that a try!
  17. Florida is a long way! I'm coming anyway the 3rd week of Nov. Please leave a few for me. If you have any control over the rut, tell them to wait til I get there. Bucks look great. Good Luck!
  18. Just bought one of those flextone bonecollector series at Walmart. I was pleasantly surprised. You mash an area for a specific tone. I must say it worked. You can also do a snort wheez with it. I will pull it out before I hit the woods and hopefully figure it out! Good Luck!
  19. Sounds like an awesome hunt!
  20. Upgrades are sweet. I remember when I upgraded to my Switchback. I still have not upgraded again. If its something you really want, go for it. Just make sure it's worth changing right before the season; remember the season is about underway. I will upgrade again oneday and when I do, yes, it will be a Matthews! Remember; second place is just the first loser!
  21. Use to be only private back in GA. Now that I live in the panhandle I do hunt some public land.
