UPS is also the only courier I have ever used that charges me like $40 to stamp cleared on the paperwork when I get a package from the USA. Fex Ex and the USPS have never done that to me as of yet.

Nope is was a Canada to Canada sending, actually about an hour away from where I am. I can maybe understand the charge if they come pick it up but when you bring it in and do it all yourself is just robbery. Sher told me UPS put this in effect about 2 months ago and she has at least 4 people walk out a day and go to another courier because of it. Like I said I NEVER use them I had no choice as the package was going back on the receivers account.

An actual UPS store

So I have to send a box to someone with a rifle barrel in it. I have not been at home or in the office long enough this week to call and schedule a pickup so I keep the box in the truck and decide when I see a UPS store I will drop it off myself and send it. So I go in the store, drop the box off MYSELF, fill out the paper work MYSELF and get everything ready. I get to the cash to find out there is now a $5 UPS drop off fee !! Are you serious ?? I save the driver a trip to my place, do all the driving and gas and all the paper work right at your location and still have to pay you for it ? I had no choice to pay it as it had to go UPS but this is a prime example once again of their trumped up fees and charges and why I wont use them in my businesses and avoid them like crazy if I have any other option even more expensive when receiving stuff. Man they are THIEVES !! AHHH sorry had to vent !

USP and Fed Ex have both stopped shipping guns regardless of what the UPS site says trust me I just went through it. Unless you are a dealer UPS will not do it. There is a way around it thought ship the gun in 2 pieces and 2 boxes it is now considered parts and not a firearm and UPS will carry it.

Just thought I would update this thread, Pix did wind up screwing me over, after weeks of excuses they sent out replacement parts minus some items I am told they "no longer carry" so they just refunded them. They also shorted me on the replacement 1040 case they were sending me as the one they originally sent was used and all marked up. Donna, Bill's wife emails me after I tell her got some of the parts and after her swearing the case would be on its way that they would not be sending a case because she would have to get one from the factory what ever that means so send back the one I have and they will refund me. I guess in their eyes offering a refund makes things all better, I have had a kit for 6 months I cant use and they want to refund parts instead of replacing them which still leaves me with parts I cant use then. These guys just plain SUCK now my advice is do not give them your business and give your money to someone who appreciates it !

Well I had a few shotguns here I was not using so I sold them and bought myself a new toy and I LOVE it ! Benelli Supernova 12 Guage in RT Camo with undertaker choke, what a difference compared to the remington I usually carry, this Benelli is so much lighter and the quality in the build is awsome. 2 weeks left of Turkey here so hopefully she will get a shot off !

I have an opportunity this year for a New Mexico Elk trip with bow or rifle.
