Kirk I feel your pain, I have a chocolate now that is 15 and getting to that point. She has been on anti-inflamitories for a year now but things are getting worse with her back end. She even has trouble now scawting to pee. But like you she is my best friend and comes everywhere and I mean everywhere. On the back of the ATV or Snowmobile in the boat. I never leave the house without her. Here eye site is still 20/20 and she thinks she is still 4 yrs old but I feel she will not make spring and I dont know how I will bring myself to put her down I try to not even think about it. I am finally going to start hunting Turkey here this coming spring and bought a new Remington 870 Pump. Without spending a fortune what do you guys recommend I buy as the basics. It will have to be hand calls as I am sure I wont be able to use the mouth diaphrams one. What load do you recommend for the gun ? Should I bother with a turkey vest or are they just for show ?
