[ QUOTE ] I figure if I could open something that carries a lot of camo, works on bows and guns, and sale as much hunting stuff I can it should do really well [/ QUOTE ] Be carefull buying as much stuff as you can right off the bat, all that inventory can cost you a fortune if your not able to turn it over regularly, escpecially if your paying a loan on the whole thing. You get charge interest and other fees weather your moving the mrchandice or not.If I was going to attempt it Id start small and see what the customers wanted before filling a lot of shelves.I watched a buddy of mine crash and burn when he got to much inventory in his 2 bait shops and couldnt sell it fast enough

  17. Re: Another Hero(?) Shamed?: just to play devils advocate for a minute Im going to assume nobody thats condemning this guy has ever had a beer and drove a car, drove over the speed limit, rolled through a stop sign, talked on a cell phone while driving, or any of about a hundred other things that are deliberately breaking the law or knowingly taken your attention off your driving.Maybe it didnt result in a death but could it have? Im not defending what he did, it was wrong and he should see the inside of a jail for it.I wouldnt even know who he was if he hadnt been on tv couple times so I have no reason to defend him. but the only reason hes brought up and the hundreds of other people that were in car wrecks yesterday through thier own disregard for safety arent is hes well known.Instead of berating the guy maybe it should serve as a wakeup call to people.I dont know how many idiots I meet on the road everyday who are breaking various laws and paying very little attention to whats going on around them and Im sure people have said the same about my driving at times.

    Dogs

Yesterday was mass chaos. My 1 1/2 yr old female yellow lab managed to push the door open out at my dads and get into his basement. There was a couple blocks of rat poision in there and we didnt know if she found them or if the rats ate them since theyd been there for a little over a week.Off to the vet we went for epacac and a couple shots. To top it off yesterday morning I was supposed to pick up my new yellow lab male thats 8 weeks old.My females pretty well trained at this point and doing good on pheasants so I thought I was up to the challenge of getting another pup.I was but my female apparently wasnt If anyone tells you dogs dont get jealous dont believe em.First it was the dog food, my older one seen the younger one eating and promptly ate everything in the bowl.the pup was just weaned so thought it would do what its been doing all its life and latched onto my females teat.Bad move, my female rolled him I put the female out, got the pup some more food and forgot about it.Let the female back in and once again she ate the whole thing Lets just say the rat poison, epacac, and all that dog food caught up with her in the middle of the night. Also after letting the puppy out of his kennel, and taking him outside he apparently wasnt done and the new dogfood caught up with him Ive spent the last 2 hours cleaning up dog puke and puppy crap and chasing te little guy around keeping things out of his mouth.I forgot how much fun they were

    Steve Irwin has died

Re: Steve Irwin has died I liked him, he had an anti hunting stance but his work on conservation was incredible and something most hunters should be able to understand to some degree.Always figured a croc would eat him in front of a crowd at the zoo though.

Re: WORLD TRADE CENTER - the movie I went and saw it last night, unfourtanately about 2 days before that I seen a much more detailed accounting of it on the Discovery channel so I didnt get the full affect like I would have going in to see it knowing only part of the story, it was very good, they kept the focus off the terrorism and the towers and kept it on the brave men that it should have focused on.2 thumbs up

    Im speechless

Re: Im speechless Apparently this town of Maywood though has given illegals immunity to being deported and has many thousand of them living there. [ QUOTE ] According to the March 29, 2006 CBS Evening News, more than 50% of the city's population are illegal aliens, and the mayor has declared that the city will refuse to cooperate with any enforcement of U.S. immigration law, declaring the city a "haven for Illegals". A local church leader has agreed to work with him in this endeavor. This sparked controversy after days of protests in late march on immigration bill H.R. 4437, a bill that makes it a felony for any individual being in the United States illegally. On August 29, 2006, the Minutemen marched into Maywood since it is a haven for immigrants. The Minutemen then provoked the citizens by going to the Latino side and yell vulgarities at the citizens. The police would then assault the pro-immigrant protesters, to the point where they pushed a woman to the concrete just because "she was in the way". Later, illegal Mexican immigrants took down the American flag from the local Maywood, California Postal office. They then proceeded to replace it with the Mexican Flag. "Backers of illegal immigration at a rally near Los Angeles took down an American flag at a U.S. post office, stamped on it and replaced it with a Mexican flag as police looked on, according to witnesses and a video of the event." When the police went to remove the flag, anti-minutemen protesters and citizens then assaulted the police with water bottles, but the flag wasn't taken down since it got tangled with the rope.
