Re: Prayers needed Please say the prayers for my wife's Uncle Harold and also our friend Ron who is dying of cancer right now. It is tough on her to have 2 people having this cancer since she lost her sister in law and godmother the same way.

    Good night for Dad

Yep it was. There was a wrestling meet tonight and both my boys won by pinfall in the first period. It made me happy and also help me forget about the basement getting flooded for a little while. Here is LittleNut and here is TurkeyEye
  10. Re: Just getting into turkey hunting, whats a good gun Yea what they said. I have a Mossberg 835 which I also use for waterfowl. However the rest of the family have Remington870's which is used for everything involving a shotgun.
  11. Re: What is better to shoot 3in. or 3.5? [ QUOTE ] If you're considering a change, go ahead and get the 3 1/2" gun. As far as which is better........you won't know until you pattern the gun thoroughly. Chances are, the 3 1/2" will throw a denser pattern than the 3". But, then again, it may not. Only patterning will tell you for sure. [/ QUOTE ] Yep,what he said
  12. Re: Mossberg 20\" barrel? My shotgun has a 28" barrel. It is also my waterfowl gun which is the reason for the length. Every length is manageable .

  16. Re: Shall We Dance?? Dustin, I would be happy that your girl friend got jealous. It shows something about how she feels about you Slow dancing is what I enjoy. I will not state the reasons for that either. As for old I crack the guys at work up because of me busting a move every now and then to the radio.
  17. Re: What Locater call do you perfer? Crow call and sometimes turkey sounds depending if I am on private or public.
  18. Re: do broadheads have to be razor sharp for turkeys? [ QUOTE ] I would use a sharp one for sure...... [/ QUOTE ] I would also.

    In the year 2015?

Re: In the year 2015? By 2015 hopefully I will be on some acreage in a one room cabin just Mama and I. Just have a wireless laptop where I will check the news and weather reports. My boys will be the ones telling lies on the net instead of me since they will be 29,24 and 23 then. I will be too busy with my grandchildren to bother

    20 vs. 12

Re: 20 vs. 12 Either gauge will do with the correct choke and load. The shot pattern is what does the job. If ya get the bird within the effective range BOOM dead bird.
  22. Re: we are at war people! WEll I didnt read anything except something wanting to sign up.

    Have You....?

Re: Have You....? Yep I have had such premonitions. There have been a couple of times I got to work and I knew that something would happen. Twice I ended up in a ER. I even knew that a son was going to a hospital before I was called. Some call it psychic but I just say I am psychotic.
