Re: Our children\'s Classrooms Yep buckee. There are many scientists that speculate this and scientists that speculate that.(if ya know what I mean) In the end we really do not know who is right on which subject. I am not against a teacher mentioning that there is creationism(sp) while teaching on how man came into being.(In fact I am all for it) but I would like all people to choose on what they believe with their free choice. Maybe I am wrong (wouldnt be the first time).

Re: Ethics, Morals, Realtree, and America [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] America is experiencing a general decline in it’s standard of ethics and moral behavior. We see it in our government, on our TV’s, and indeed in our families. I promise you, if you could bring back great grandparents they would only express dismay over the decline of America’s integrity [/ QUOTE ] generally agree, but there are some fallacies to some of your premises. the above quote for one. i could dig up plenty of "America's integrity in decline" stories, and many of them would date to the 1700 and 1800's. by definition, if there's good, there will be evil--always. until That Day at least. . until then, live your life to the best of your ability, fight ignorance and evil when you can and enjoy life. you never know when someone, or something will take it away. Peace brothers. [/ QUOTE ] Ditto

Re: Our children\'s Classrooms I read some of it. (Probably not enough to suit what was meant.) My thoughts are it does not belong in public schools in The United States (Dont care if Canada does ) Parochial education might include it (probably not Catholic schools though) but I dont care what they do either. I have my own beliefs on creation vs. evolution and believe they go hand in hand with each other. I did some great bible studies 12 years ago with a good teacher and pastor who helped me realize on how the bible was translated. It was eye opening and educational. So that is also the way I teach my children. After all it is my responsiblity to teach my children about God. That is why I rarely trust anyone else with them on this subject.

Re: Nearly 1/2 of Americans favor restricting Muslims. Life this is what my thoughts are. Restricting the iimmigration and student visas is the right thing to do now. Following up on the one's who are here on student visas is good also as long as we do it right. Just to classify someone as evil because of their religous beliefs is downright wrong and unAmerican. To round them up and ship em out just would end in in huge camps and then the same people for this will want to start on the next group. Then we would end up with a kid watch group wearing brown shirts reporting things that did not actually happen. Sorta like the Nazi's did in Germany. That is why I was glad the TIPS thingy wasnt included in the unPatriot act.

Buck shot or slugs? for deer hunting
Nut replied to JimT's topic in Nick Beacham's Youth & Hunting Room
Re: Buck shot or slugs? for deer hunting buckshot is illegal in Ohio. Slugs are used but I use Remingtom copper solids in my shotgun. It makes a pretty hole in the deer. -
That is good news for sure.Did you get the mount back?

Here is a Kid's turkey puzzle that you put together by dragging the pieces into place with your mouse. I enjoyed it Click Here

Re: KERRY EARNS \"FOLLIES\" HONORS!!! There are many in this country too stupid to be gullible.

Re: Nearly 1/2 of Americans favor restricting Muslims. Sounds to me that there are many in this country ready to put on brown shirts.

Re: PETA Develops New Anti-Hunting Website The best thing IMHO to do is for the hunting community to properly educate those who will listen and get them that proper management via hunting is the best economically(sp) and safest.. Show the world how misleading PETA is and how wacko they are.(They are doing that job already LOL)

Re: Typin Part II Personally I do not care if people spell correctly. They are here and adding to the family and friends atmosphere. If you have patience most of them improve with their sentence structure and spelling. I have 3 children with learning disabilities(dylexia oops spelled wrong) and I am sure there are many out there the same. So if you choose to ignore them then do it. I usually then ignore the ones that whine about people's spelling.

Re: I wish Va. would place a four point rule! Fun thread LOL I am not for antler restrictions on a statewide basis. I am for proper deer management to assure population control. Anybody that wants to hunt the public land in NW Ohio will change thier mind about AR after they go without a deer in 5-8 years. (A friend passed on a few small bucks a few years ago and still hasnt gotten a deer in 8 years) Just a scenario for ya to think about.

Re: Spring 2005 Take 2 Ohio for sure and hopefully Kentucky. I will carry a Mossberg 835 but will probably only be calling for family. Pretty much what I feel like at the time. Always will be. I even mentioned that I wanted to be hunting turkeys NOW at work.

Is Muzzleloader Hunting More Popular Than Bow?
Nut replied to NY911Bowhunter's topic in Deer Hunting
Re: Is Muzzleloader Hunting More Popular Than Bow? MY thoughts are that it is mostly gun hunters looking for a way to extend the days they hunt that are increasing the numbers. They go out and buy a ML (most likely a inline) and go to the range once or twice and then they get to hunt a few more days. Since the ML users only get specific days to hunt there are mopre in the woods at the same time. Bow seasons are waaaaaaaaaaay longer and the hunters space the days they hunt out Only my thoughts and not set in stone LOL -
Since the election I watch on tv and read in print the mumbo jumbo about "red" or "blue" states. I dont care which state went which way because they fail to see that every state should be a RED, WHITE and BLUE state. Just had to get it out
