First and easiest thing to do is check your nocks and make sure your flechings are clearing the rest. You may to turn your nocks on your arrows to ensure proper clearance!

I test rode both of those models and a Kaw Brute Force 750i...ended up buying the Kawasaki it had more power and more speed than the Griz and King Quad. They were all nice in their own way...but I like the looks of the Brute Force and love the power!

First off...why would you want to? I agree with the above post...although the paint could be very light...it still would add to the overall dia. of the casings and could get stuck in the chamber. Second, paint is flamable...you ever feel a casing straight out of the gun? Ever see the fire ball out the end of the barrel? When the shell is fired...there is an explosion inside that gun chamber...why risk putting anything in there that prob. has no business being in there. Honestly to answer your question...I don't know if you could or couldn't. Wouldn't be worth finding out for me.

I would pick the Rage because the bucks hanging on my wall and does that were killed using them, keeps me buying more! Can't comment on the other one you've mentioned because I have no experience with them. I'm sure they are a good head...just like the 2" cutting of the Rage...they've "proven" themselves to me.

Don't know what shipping would be like, but I have 2 Dunlop ATV tires for sale. They are used but like new (less than 70 miles on them). They were the front tires on my Kaw Brute Force...25X8X12's. Asking $40 + shipping for the pair.

Since there really isn't a "bad" gun...brand is up to you. Shoulder some and see what fits and feels right...as for cal., I'd go with a .300 win mag. It will do anything the above cal. will plus some and still shoots a .30 cal. bullet. If you ever intend on shooting a little further ranges...or go after something a little bigger than whitetail...you'll still have a good all around gun to do so. Like Jeramie...get good glass on top! I'd start off by setting at LEAST $200 aside for a scope/rings/and bases. That leaves $800 to shop with.

You want a "NEW" 2005 bow? I guess its posible, but why not buy a "NEW" 2007 bow? Sorry I can't help you...I don't know anyone who had a new '05 bow forsale.

Everytime I see a post, story, or hear a story about this subject...its always, "my brothers father-in-laws step sons nephew seen a mt. lion". Never any pictures or video or any kind of proof...heck would maybe believe a picture of a paw print or something. I rank them with UFO's, ghost and such...believe its posible, but until I see one for myself...I guess I'll be foolish and ignorant!

Well last season I used the 2 bladed Rage heads. First was the 8pt. on my wall...I will be the first to admit I didn't make the best of shots...a little too far back. I opted to let him go overnight...when we came back the next morning...we found blood quickly and found my buck about 100 yards away. Alot of deer are lost from shots like this because fat and guts plug the holes and leave no trail. I give the Rage heads credit...because of the massive entry and exit holes...it never had time to clot or plug...we had good blood most of the way. The second was a doe. She was HARD quartering away at 20 yards...I tucked the arrow in right in front of the rear quarter and exited behind the opposite front shoulder. The blades opened and held up...I had two blood trails! I will continue to use the Rage heads and not even question them. Try them...you won't be disappointed.

Whoops...didn't mean to put the pressure on you Don. The scoop is, Don bought a rifle for his boy and had it shipped to me. When he came to get it...he hand delivered my OTPG gear. We only live about 30 mins. apart! Trust me OTPG members...you won't be disappointed.

I also use the cheapo Strong Built ladders...we got 3 of them and never had any problems. I always buy an extra piece of ladder to get me at 20'. Had them for years and can't say anything bad about them. There are prob. a little more comfy stands...but I've sat in these for hours on end with no issues.
